NIST Tech NIST Tech fosters and supports an environment of technological literacy at NIST in an increasingly connected world.

NIST Tech has its humble origins from two inspired IB Computer Science students who wanted to share their love for technology with the NIST Community. It has since grown to include more than 15 members, who are able to select and suggest new ideas through an innovative project-based system. Currently, the group operates two main projects: NIST Tech Certification Program, and the weekly Tech Tips T

uesday. Both are designed to further students’ technological knowledge, with the former permitting students to gain additional expertise with technology at NIST, and the latter informing on the various tips and tricks that the greater NIST community can use to interact with their computers more effectively. NIST Tech further hopes to promote and host various technology-related activities for NIST students so as to hone their technological abilities. We believe that NIST students must have access to proper technical knowledge, learning opportunities, and, if they desire, healthy competition, in order to use technology to the fullest extent in this increasingly connected society.

If you ever find yourself out of charge in the middle of the day, worry not, we are introducing the all NEW "Powerbank Borrowing Service."

We have also been fortunate enough to be able to publish this announcement on the TV screens around NIST, allowing us to reach a larger audience – an accomplishment we are very excited and proud to proclaim. We see this as an opportunity to further publicize our Tech Tips in hopes of allowing a greater number of students to utilize their computer to its maximum advantage.
