Vimi Was born when Virode Imtanasan and Mike Darnell met for the first time in a Macdonalds near Asoke BTS station sometime late in 2010. After working together on a few projects without causing each other excessive amounts of bodily harm or mental anguish, they thought it might be fun to setup a company together.

atarnasan is a Thai born web designer who spent most of his life in Australia. Virode graduated law school and decided that being a lawyer was probably less fun than playing video games, so his first career move was getting a job working customer support at SEGA. This was a good thing because soon after he started designing games there. From SEGA Virode was poached to Electronic Arts, where he was given the opportunity to build both his, and EA’s, first website. This was a good thing because it turned out that Virode was good at building websites, and he liked it more than playing video games. In 2002 Virode left EA to start up IRM -”Australia’s market leader in providing investor focused websites and communication tools for ASX-listed companies“. and Virode returned to Thailand because his wife said it was to time to go home…
>>> Mike Darnell is an Israeli born web entrepreneur who lived for 35 years in the same house in Jerusalem. Mike studied industrial design and started his first studio while still in his freshman year. He got involved in web design early in 2002 on a request from one of his father’s friends, and fell completely in love with the medium. Mike’s has worked in a variety of startup and technology companies where he’s held the position of Creative Director, Product Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, and VP of Marketing. In May 2010 Mike moved to Bangkok with his wife and daughter to pursue their shared dream of living in Thailand.
