Thailand’s AI momentum is strengthening — but translating this into sustained business value will depend on the right digital infrastructure.

At our "Bridging Thailand’s AI Infrastructure Readiness Divide" media briefing, we shared key findings on Thailand from STT GDC’s regional study, "Mind the Gap: Bridging the AI Infrastructure Readiness Divide", alongside an overview of our data centre capabilities. We also highlighted how our facilities, including the upcoming STT Bangkok 2, are being designed to support more advanced and production-scale AI workloads.

While Thai organisations have progressed into the adoption phase of their AI journey, scaling further is now constrained by budget pressures and limited access to AI talent. Moving into production will require more than incremental investment. Organisations must build a clearer line of sight to ROI, secure the right skills, and establish infrastructure foundations capable of supporting production-scale workloads — while also addressing gaps in operational readiness and governance.

This shifts the challenge from experimentation to ex*****on. For many organisations, partnering with specialised providers can help accelerate progress — reducing time and cost, bridging capability gaps, and strengthening both confidence and compliance as they move into production.

A new chapter begins for STT GDC Thailand as we officially take up residence in our new office at One Bangkok, Tower 5. This move marks an important milestone in our growth—creating a workspace that better supports collaboration, innovation, and how we come together as a team. Situated within One Bangkok’s smart workplace ecosystem, the new office enables a more connected, flexible and future‑ready way of working.

To mark the occasion, we brought the team together through a series of activities, including a traditional merit‑making blessing and a town hall session—reflecting on how far we’ve come, reconnecting as a team, and looking ahead to what’s next.

Grounded in purpose, people and progress, we look forward to growing and shaping what’s next together.

It was a valuable opportunity to connect with network operators, cloud providers, partners, and industry peers—exchanging perspectives on connectivity, interconnection, and the evolving digital infrastructure landscape in Thailand.

As construction progresses at STT Bangkok 2, we are proud to mark a significant safety milestone: reaching 1 million safe man‑hours with zero lost time injuries.

We are pleased to share that STT Bangkok 2 has achieved TIA‑942 (DCDV Rated‑3) certification, awarded by EPI Certification—recognising a concurrently maintainable facility design that supports high availability, resilience, and uninterrupted operations for mission‑critical workloads.

As our newest facility, STT Bangkok 2 is being designed to be AI‑ready, with this certification marking a key design milestone. Targeted to commence operations in Q4 2026, the facility continues to progress steadily towards supporting evolving customer requirements.
