ABOUT THE POSITION
dNation is looking for a Medior DevOps Engineer.
You will cooperate with your colleagues on design, implementation, operation and maintenance of dNation cloud-based applications and services.
As a DevOps engineer, you will work in a constantly evolving environment.
You will create, maintain, audit and improve systems to meet particular needs, often as advised by a systems analyst or architect, testing both hard and software systems to diagnose and resolve system faults.
You will identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes and automate those processes.
You will have the unique opportunity to be a part of the team which support our customers in their digital transformation in more efficient and automated process landscape.
You will learn how to develop the best infrastructure solution and partialy will be responsible for the installation.
You keep an eye on the innovations, new tools, apps...
You will learn new stacks, tips, tricks and become a pro in your field.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
• Working day starts with a regular morning meeting, usually around 15 minutes long - brainstorming, planning, discussing, retrospectives, reviews, etc.
• You start to work on your current task, usually something related to design, implementation or maintenance of some dNation cloud-based application or service
• You will work in close cooperation with your senior peer, so you can ask questions anytime
OUR TECH STACK
• Programming languages: Python, Java, Jsonnet some others (project specific)
• Scripting languages: Bash, LUA, etc.
• Orchestration systems and services: Kubernetes, Openshift, Google Cloud, AWS, Hetzner
• Containerization tools: Docker, Podman, CRI-O
• Automation and deployment tools: Gitlab, Github, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Helm etc.
• Databases: Galera Cluster, Redis etc.
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, Thanos etc.
• Machine learning tools to data analysis and forecast: LoudML (https://github.com/regel/loudml), etc.

SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
• Ability to learn new things - whether it is programing language, software solution, tool or technology
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Programming experience (at least medium level)
• Computer Science background and technical skills including understanding of software development principles is a plus
