From September to December, job interviews start picking up — and if you're a programmer, now’s the time to get interview-ready.
But good preparation isn’t just about reviewing your old projects. It’s about being present, curious, and ready to talk about what you’ve been learning lately.
Here’s how to stand out in interviews:
✅ Learn something new each month – whether it’s a C # 11 feature (like raw string literals) or exploring minimal APIs in .NET 8, showing recent learning shows initiative.
✅ Build a habit of reading release notes & tech blogs – it keeps your knowledge fresh and helps you speak about real-world relevance.
✅ Practice explaining your thinking – interviewers don’t just want correct answers; they want to understand how you approach problems.
✅ Try small side projects – build a simple API, test Azure Functions, or containerize a .NET app. These make great talking points in interviews.
