Let us introduce our great speaker - Peter Novák member of the VUB Management Board and Chief Operating Officer.
Peter Novák joined VUB after leaving Raiffeisen Bank International AG in Austria where he was Managing Director of International Operations and IT and was responsible for directing Operations and IT for 15 banks in Central and Eastern Europe – plus regional offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York and London. Prior to Raiffeisen, he held senior management positions in both banking and telecommunications in Slovakia and abroad. Peter Novák graduated from the Technical University in Košice.

Our amazing next presenter - Radim Petráš, Head of IT Service Management at Stora Enso
Radim Petráš graduated at VSB Technical University of Ostrava in year 2008. Already during his studies, Radim joined Scandinavian IT service provider Tieto where he managed large teams and IT services. Besides other positions he was leading offshore service delivery of Service Desk services and he founded an IT Service Desk team in India. In total Radim managed 120 members plus team in three countries. Around 2013 – 2014 he has been leading the program of Service Desk efficiency with focus on process automation. Three years ago, Radim joined Stora Enso’s IT department where his main responsibility has been to unify the way of working in End User Support, with key activity of building one Service Desk for 26 000 employees with multiple languages. By the beginning of November 2017, he started a new position as Head of IT Service Management where he focuses on tools and operational
processes development. Radim is also holder of ITIL Expert certification.

Kaimar Karu
Director of Strategic Advisory

Kaimar is the Director of Strategic Advisory at Mindbridge, a consultancy company operating out of Tallinn, Estonia and London, United Kingdom. He used to work as the Head of Product Strategy and Development at AXELOS, where he was responsible for leading the work on ITIL and PRINCE2, bringing in Lean, Agile, and DevOps principles and practices. He is the lead author of the official “ITIL Practitioner” guidance published in 2016, author of “ITIL and DevOps: Getting Started”, and co-author of “Using Kanban in IT Operations”.

Before joining AXELOS, Kaimar was working with Skype, focusing on the modernization of ITSM and TechOps practices. He has a background of more than 20 years in Product and Service Management, Project and Program Management, IT Operations, and Software Development. Recently, he has been focusing on leveraging Complexity Thinking and the Cynefin framework in Digital Transformation, IT Management, IT Service Management, and Project Management.

Let us introduce our great speaker Ivan Golian
- ITN Director and Deputy CEO - from Orange Slovensko, a.s.

Ivan born in 1964. He completed his university education at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava and achieved his PhD at the Department of Applied Informatics and Automation at FMT STU. Beginning in 1993, he worked at the Department of Electronics and Automation KIHO in Gent, Belgium, and around two years later he began work at Digital Equipment Corporation as a project manager for the banking and telecommunications sectors. In 1997, he joined Orange Slovensko, a.s., where he worked for more than eight years as a member of the senior management, ITN Director and Chief Operations Officer (CIO/CTO/COO). In 2005, he became the Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Beginning in 2006, he was the VUB Bank´s board member and also worked as Director of Information Technologies and Operations there. Since January 2009, he has been the ITN Director at Orange Slovensko, a.s. and he is also the Deputy CEO and a Board member.

Let us introduce the first great speaker for our upcoming itSMF conference 2019 - Paul Wilkinson: Director & Owner of GamingWorks.nl

Paul has been actively involved in ITSM for more than 30 years in the roles of managing consultant, Service development manager and as ITIL developer. Paul was co-author of the ITIL publication “Planning to Implement IT Service Management” and was a member of the ITIL Practitioner Architects team. Paul is also co-director and owner of GamingWorks, the company that developed the internationally renowned ‘Apollo 13 – an ITSM case experience’ ITSM simulation game as well as Cybersecurity, Project management, Business & IT-Alignment and DevOps business simulations. He was also co-and developer of the ‘ABC of ICT’ (The Attitude, Behavior and Culture of ICT) publications, having conducted ABC workshops and simulation workshops with delegates representing more than 5000 organizations world-wide.
