Mykola Kovalenko Studio Graphic design and creative logos, branding, visual identity and communication, product and packagin Mykola regularly participates in international exhibitions.

Design Studio is founded by a famous Ukrainian graphic designer with over 20 years of experience in design. Mykola Kovalenko studied at the Kyiv State Academy of Decorative and Applied Art and Design named after Mykhailo Boychuk. Mykola Kovalenko is an honorary member of the Ukrainian Art Directors Club, a member of the Slovakian Art directors Club, a member of the Ukrainian Graphic Designers Association "The 4-th Block" and Czech Brno Biennale Designers Association. During the years, Mykola's works won over 150 awards at international design contests and festivals, including Red Dot Design Award (Germany), Golden Drum (Slovenia), The European Design Awards (Greece), Graphis (USA), ADI Design Award (China), International Poster Triennial in Toyama (Japan), International Triennial "The 4th Block" (Ukraine), Kiev International Advertising Festival KIAF (Ukraine), Golden Bee Global Biennale of Graphic Design (Russia), Poster Quadrennial Bardejov (Slovakia) and others. He often served as a member of the jury at international design festivals in Ukraine, Spain, Russia, Belarus and in many other countries. He also holds solo poster exhibitions in Ukraine, Slovakia, Poland and in other countries. Mykola gives lectures and runs workshops on graphic design. His works have been featured in magazines and catalogues all over the world. Mykola Kovalenko is a creator of many cultural and social projects.

My posters in Busan 🇰🇷

Following the exhibition in Taiwan, two of my posters from the Democracy Poster Project: Seed Pods of Democracy were presented at the next exhibition in Busan, South Korea.

The exhibition Riding the Wind: Seed Pods of Democracy took place at Democracy Park — a space dedicated to the history of the democratic movement and the struggle for rights and freedoms.

It is exciting to see this international poster project continue its journey across different countries, bringing designers and artists together around the themes of democracy, freedom, and human rights.

Мои плакати на Тайвані 🇹🇼

Два мої плакати були представлені на виставці Democracy Poster Project: Seed Pods of Democracy, яка проходила в Національному музеї прав людини на Тайвані.

Цей міжнародний виставковий проєкт об’єднав плакати дизайнерів і художників з різних країн, присвячені темам демократії, свободи, прав людини та громадянського суспільства.

Для мене особливо важливо, що мої роботи стали частиною цієї міжнародної експозиції та були представлені в National Human Rights Museum у Новому Тайбеї.

Ще один проєкт із мого архіву.

Цей знак був створений ще до комп’ютерної епохи — на міліметровому папері, за допомогою лінійки та циркуля.

Мій перший комерційний логотип, розроблений ще на першому курсі художнього технікуму для невеликої вареничної. За нього я отримав свій перший дизайнерський гонорар — близько 10 доларів.

Сьогодні я продовжую створювати логотипи, айдентику та графічний дизайн для брендів. Відкритий до нових проєктів.

Випадково побачив у BILLA вино з етикеткою, яку розробляв кілька років тому. Завжди приємно бачити свою роботу на полиці магазину 😊

Лімітована серія вин MARÍNA для ELESKO — історія кохання, розказана через мінімалістичні ілюстрації на етикетках.

Розробляю упаковку та айдентику, які допомагають брендам виділятися на полиці. Відкритий до нових проєктів.

Limitovaná séria vín MARÍNA pre ELESKO — príbeh lásky vyrozprávaný prostredníctvom minimalistických ilustrácií na etiketách.

Navrhujem obaly a vizuálne identity, ktoré pomáhajú značkám vyniknúť na regáli. Som otvorený novým projektom.

Мій плакат знову став частиною міжнародної виставки Tolerance Poster Show у самому серці Нью-Йорка — на Таймс-сквер!

Цього року на виставці було представлено понад 100 плакатів з усього світу, присвячених темам толерантності, поваги та взаєморозуміння. Для мене велика честь вкотре бути серед учасників цього важливого міжнародного проєкту.

My poster is once again part of the international Tolerance Poster Show in the heart of New York City — Times Square!

This year, the exhibition featured more than 100 posters from around the world dedicated to tolerance, respect, and mutual understanding. It is a great honor for me to be included among the participants of this important global project once again.
