👀 Our first major content update for Way of the Hunter 2 is here!

- Thermal vision - monocular and scope clip-on to track animals in low visibility
- Suppressors for less noise, better handling, and more controlled hunting
- Infrastructure improvements - repair bridges, maintain feeders, take care of the environment and manage your hunting grounds
- Wall-mounted taxidermy options available in your lodge
- Expanded Photo mode with more poses for you and your dog
- Dog companion improvements - new animations like digging, shaking of water, and improved facial expressions
- Highly requested by our community, star trophy ratings in the binocular animal analysis are back!
- Various SFX improvements, for example, for animal footstep distances, refined wind and vehicle engine sounds
- Plus 200+ fixes and tweaks for a smoother gameplay experience

Way of the Hunter 2 gets its first major update. 🎉 Shape ecosystems by restoring habitats, hunt more strategically with suppressors, and track animals using thermal optics. Expanded Photo Mode lets you capture your best moments in the wild.

The last days of April can only mean one thing - Major Update 1 is almost here, and so is our dev stream!

Join us tomorrow at 5:00 PM CEST, where we at Nine Rocks Games will be showcasing some of the exciting new features coming to Way of the Hunter 2 - new infrastructure improvements, suppressors, thermal vision gear, photo mode enhancements, and more. Questions buzzing louder than a spooked deer, let’s clear a few things up!

- Platforms? Early Access on Steam PC. This helps us patch and iterate faster. Console release is planned for later - more info soon!

- Maps? 1 map at launch, another coming soon.

- Animals? 13 species at EA launch (~30 planned in total for both maps).

- Roadmap? High-level roadmap will be shared on March 26, with more detailed one coming right after.
