More ways to troubleshoot. Fewer steps to get things done. Three updates just landed in PDQ:
🤖 Meet PDQ Assistant
The Package assistant now works with devices and deployments, too. If a deployment fails, ask the Assistant to review the logs, help identify the issue, edit the package, and redeploy it. Every action waits for your approval, so you stay in control.
It can also help investigate slow devices, write and run PDQ commands, manage packages, summarize logs, and create HTML reports. Conversations follow you between device, deployment, and package pages, and you can @ mention devices, packages, and groups to focus the work.
PDQ Assistant is available at no additional cost during Early Access. Admins can manage access under Settings > AI tools. Yes, you have control.
💻 Live Shell
Open an interactive command-line session on a remote device to check configurations, inspect services and processes, or run one-off admin commands.
📁 File Explorer
Browse a device’s file system, upload scripts, installers, and configs, or download logs and diagnostics.
Live Shell and File Explorer are available to all Plus and Premium Connect customers. Neither requires a full remote session or a deployment. Find the terminal and folder icons beside online devices in the Devices list, or next to Deploy on an individual device page.
