Founded in December 2015, The Codette Project is a non-profit ground-up initiative that aims to get more minority/Muslim women into technology. The Codette Project is working towards long-term economic change for minority/Muslim women through developing tech skills, building a collaborative community as well as reclaiming narratives of success to include minority/Muslim women’s stories. The Codette Project runs classes, workshops, panels, networking sessions and social events regularly, including Singapore’s only women's hackathon.

Join us at the Game Devs of Color Expo Watch Party, where we’ll be screening a curated lineup of inspiring talks from game developers around the world, followed by opportunities to connect with fellow creatives, students, and gaming enthusiasts right here in Singapore.

From authentic storytelling and game design to music, animation, and behind-the-scenes development, you’ll get a glimpse into the ideas and people shaping a more inclusive games industry.

We came hoping to make a few trades. We left with new friendships, fresh perspectives, exciting collaborations, and hearts that felt a little fuller.
