Have you ever noticed that the displayed Remote ID position on a map does not always align perfectly with the drone’s actual visual position?

This does not automatically mean the tracker is malfunctioning. In many cases, slight position shifts are related to how GNSS-based positioning works in real-world environments, especially around tall buildings, reflective surfaces, or areas with limited sky visibility.

In our latest article, we explain how Remote ID uses GNSS to broadcast position data, why slight shifts may happen, and what drone operators can do to improve GNSS reception.

🏎‍New Case Study: Coordinating Multi-Drone Operations at Barcelona’s F1 Circuit🏎‍

As drone operations grow more complex, the challenge is no longer simply getting one aircraft safely into the air. It is coordinating multiple aircraft, mixed fleets, and distributed teams within one structured operational framework.

In our latest case study, we share how AirBridge OS was used in a live multi-UAS demonstration with BCN Drone Center at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, supporting multi-aircraft coordination, BVLOS-grade traffic logic, and shared situational awareness across Barcelona and Singapore.

We were pleased to have our Co-founder and COO, Fabrice Ancey, join the panel discussion “System of Systems: Unlocking commercial AAM through integrated partner solutions” at Drones & Uncrewed Asia 2026.

The session explored a key challenge in bringing Advanced Air Mobility into commercial reality: success depends not only on advanced aircraft, but on how well multiple systems work together. From connectivity and surveillance to airspace management, ground operations, and regulations, integration of technologies and operational workflows is what enables safer, more reliable, and scalable operations.

It was a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on how partner ecosystems and interoperable solutions can help unlock real operational value across the AAM landscape.

Our thanks to our partner Viasat, Siu Min Lee, Regional Business Development Director, for hosting and moderating the session, and to the other participants for the engaging discussion: Ronnie Lim, Sales Director APAC at GALAXY 1 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC; and Mark Yong, CEO & Co-founder at Garuda Robotics.

We look forward to continuing the conversation on how connected systems and collaborative ecosystems can support the future of commercial AAM.

Flying a drone in Singapore? Make sure you are reading your altitude correctly!✈️

Understanding height references like AMSL, AGL, height above take-off, and GNSS or barometric altitude is more important than it seems. These numbers may look similar on screen, but they do not always mean the same thing, and misunderstanding them can affect how you interpret your flight data and compliance requirements.

In our latest article, we break down what each height reference means, why AMSL matters in Singapore, and how to better read the altitude data shown by your drone or RID system.
