PRICE POINT: Apple's Vision Pro so will it be a hit or miss? Will this be the 2000 PowerMac G4 CUBE that fail. For me it will be a miss at S$ 4,720 a rich man's toy. If this is priced at about a PlayStation5 approx S$ 800/- I think will be a big hit! Pretty sure this Vision Pro product Apple will not release sales figures.

Yesterday a customer sent me this photo to say suddenly this shows up, instead of just the "Enter Password". He clearly remembers his Username and password but when he type in, the iMac 27" 2017 will not login to the desktop. He asked me if I can go over to solve this issue and hopefully save his data as he did not do a back up.

I told him I can go over to check on it but I cannot guarantee his data can be saved.

While driving down, I was thinking what can cause this issue. My conclusion was he probably have a Fusion Drive that was corrupted. True enough when I booted off my external SSD and check his internal drive it was a Fusion Drive and tested to see if his data could be copied? Yes it could.

Today I will be going over again to replace the Fusion drive to a 1TB SSD and copy his data back to the new 1TB SSD.
