A monumental leap for the future of AI and Robotics in Bharat happened on, June 15, 2026. Presidency University in Bengaluru will inaugurate the new School of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Computing, along with an AI Centre of Excellence Accelerated by NVIDIA.
This event also marked the official launch of the BOHRAI (Bharat Open Innovation Hub for Robotics & AI) Hackathon, featuring a significant prize pool of ₹1 Crore.
The vision behind BOHRAI is to transform Bharat into the world's most vibrant open innovation ecosystem for Robotics and AI by 2040. The initiative aims to empower millions of innovators to develop breakthrough technologies that promote prosperity, sustainability, and human well-being. By breaking down institutional barriers and uniting academia, industry, startups, government, and investors, BOHRAI seeks to make innovation accessible to all and accelerate the commercialization of AI solutions across various sectors.
These initiatives will be inaugurated by a panel of esteemed guests:
