We take a little detour from our usual food posts to talk about a service that we’ve found pretty useful. Have you ever been in a fix about whether to get your computer fixed or buying a new one? Especially when the computer is still running well except for one or two niggling things like a fried battery or occasional keys just not working as well after one too many coffee spills?

Well, I (Lisa) tipped over to the repair side when I heard about Pronto Arigato's door to door service. They will actually pick up your faulty device, fix it and deliver it back to you – Pronto! They can repair Macbooks, PC laptops and mobile phones with quality parts.

My HP laptop got a new lease of life after replacing the battery and bottom casing and getting a re-application of the CPU Thermal Paste plus some internal cleaning. As you can see from the picture, the thermal paste was literally non-existent. My CPU was probably close to getting fried too!

Our son's Mac book was as good as new after they repaired the hinge and replaced the battery, speakers and keyboard. We were also able to get our daughter’s laptop battery replaced within the day after dropping it off at their office (at Paya Lebar Square) in the morning and picking it up after lunch on a Sunday!

Depending on the nature of the problem and availability of parts, repairs could take a few hours, days or weeks. Looking at their website - https://prontoarigato.sg/, seems like they offer many other services like data recovery, on-site repairs and buying/selling of devices.

Good news is they are now offering free onsite repair services on Weds and Thurs (by appt). That means, they will come down to your place and fix your faulty device on the spot! No need to pay extra for the special trip, just for labour and parts.

The kind and gentle Izza always has the biggest smile in the office! Izza’s claims she’s actually shy person but really is a chatterbox around people. 🤯😅
She’s also got built-in sick moves so don’t be surprised if your repair appointment becomes a TikTok dance battle! 💃 ✨

Keyi (Bubble-Tea Monster)
The youngest and quietest of the troop but she’s really the behind-the-scenes MVP! Silent on the outside… but anything conversation related to desserts or drinks and Keyi will chatting away, all day! 🧋💁🏻‍♀️
