Singtel:
SCAM ADVISORY
We're aware of scam calls impersonating Singtel staff, falsely claiming that your mobile number has been used to sign up for unauthorised plans or there are account or billing issues. To appear credible, callers may direct you to visit Singtel HQ or an SPC (SingPost Centre) outlet, click a link, or access a WhatsApp chatbot to cancel the order.
Here's how to stay vigilant against these impersonation scams:
1. Always verify callers and website sources, when in doubt, hang up and call us directly at 1688.
2. Be sceptical of unexpected charges or plan changes you did not initiate.
3. Don't rush to act on urgent or fear-based messages, scammers rely on panic to cloud your judgement.
We will never ask you for your banking, account or credit card details
If you've been affected, please report it to the police immediately.
Let's stay ahead of scams together. For more information, visit singtel.com/secured.
