我覺得今年的自己還是不錯
有不停的嘗試
成果如何都無所謂
至少還是找到吃和滿足
明年也有一堆計畫想做
就這樣

然後
這5天在日月陶坊 Sun Moon Pottery Studio 做了一些杯子
不算很積極做一堆
可是還算合格啦
明天修坯開窯拿作品就慢慢回家

這幾天要去Flat studio油幾面牆先

来做定制的杯子和准备一些作品放寄卖
没什么特别的
就一点一点做
我的腰还要用很久的

我把家都整理好了，
把大部分的東西都放Flat Studio了。
這張照片是我星期二晚上在家外面修坯，
一邊想該幾時處理Flat Studio呢？
應該是下個月吧，
慢慢弄.
基本上也不會刻意開放給人來，
因為就自己工作的地方。
Private class一樣還是有在Kajang Apartment，

After spending so much time working on artworks and preparing for exhibitions, I suddenly feel like going back to the basics — making tableware again. Maybe more cups, simple shapes, quiet forms, and minimal details. Nothing too complicated or overly decorated. I just want to make things that feel simple, useful, and comfortable to live with. Sometimes, after spending so much time thinking about bigger ideas and more complicated projects, going back to something simple is exactly what I need.

Lately, I’ve also realized that I really can’t stay in the city for too long. The longer I stay, the more quickly I feel tired, and somehow it becomes harder for me to focus on the things I actually want to do. There is always so much going on around me, and I think I need a little more quiet, more space, and more time to slow down and work at my own pace. I need to be somewhere I can clear my mind, spend more time in the studio, and just enjoy making things without feeling like I’m constantly rushing from one place to another.

So, this week, I probably won’t be driving too far unless I’m just passing by or need to drop something off. I think I just need to stay close, slow down a little, rest, and give myself some time to breathe. Sometimes, I forget that I don’t always have to be doing something or going somewhere. It’s okay to take a step back and simply enjoy some quiet time.

Too tired, honestly. I think I just need some slow days, some clay, a few simple cups, and a little more peace.

Tomorrow is last day of my solo exhibition✨

I’m so happy and grateful to have had my first ceramic solo exhibition - An Unordinary Hedgehog at michaelchuahgallery .

It wasn’t a big exhibition, just a small space filled with many small works that I made with love, patience, and a little bit of myself.

Some of the pieces were imperfect. Before the exhibition, I wondered if I should even show them. But in the end, I decided to let them be seen — because they are part of my journey too. They carry the mistakes, the experiments, the uncertainty, and all the little steps I’ve taken along the way.

I never expected a huge crowd or many people to purchase my work, especially for my first solo exhibition. What means the most to me is seeing people come into this small space, take their time, slowly look at the works, and perhaps feel something from them.

To everyone who came, looked, felt, supported, or took a piece of my work home with you — thank you. Knowing that my ceramics have found their way into someone else’s space and life is something I will always be grateful for.

Every kind of support, whether seen or unseen, means so much to me. It reminds me to keep making, keep learning, and keep going.

This is only the beginning. I hope that over the next two years, I can continue this journey and, hopefully, create another small space filled with little pieces of my heart.
