This experience allow customers to scan the QR code at Watsons and Guardian Singapore retail stores, revealing a series of fun interactive games to enhance and strengthen the customers’ shopping journey.

Magic Leap's next augmented reality headset is scheduled to be unveiled later this year. The long-awaited device, which is intended for enterprise consumers, is said to be 20 percent lighter with doubled the field of view compared to the Magic Leap One, to provide more comfort for frontline workers.

IKEA has given its Augmented Reality (AR) app, now called IKEA Studio, a complete makeover. Previously called IKEA Place, the AR app now allows users to completely redesign their living spaces by capturing 3D plans of the living space including the measurements and placement of every piece of furniture with the help of LiDAR sensors.

Microsoft wins a $21 billion contract with the U.S. Army to produce more than 120,000 custom HoloLens headsets aimed at enhancing situation awareness to enable better information sharing and decision-making skills for soldiers. Our team is looking forward to seeing how Microsoft plans to transform the defense industry.

Apple’s long-awaited mixed reality (MR) headset is predicted to launch mid-2022, followed by augmented reality(AR) glasses in 2025 and contact lenses by 2030, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The initial helmet is likely to weigh between 100 and 200 grams and will be priced in the $1,000 range in the US.
