Africa’s digital economy is expanding at record speed, creating huge demand for software expertise, a space where NCINGA continues to play an active role.
Represented by our VP of Sales, Mudith Maddumarachchi, NCINGA participated in the SLASSCOM GT&I Market Access - Africa Delegation to Kenya from 25 September to 2 October. The itinerary featured high-impact business breakfast meetings in Nairobi, opening up clear avenues for real-world business integration across East Africa.
Organised alongside the Sri Lankan High Commission in Kenya and supported by commercial facilitator Bouer, Mudith joined fellow Sri Lankan tech leaders to meet directly with key figures and trade bodies shaping the region's digital future.
The delegation engaged with Hon. William Kabogo Gitau, (Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communications and The Digital Economy, Kenya), alongside representatives from the Kenya Investment Authority, the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), and regional tech enterprises across Nairobi, Mombasa, and Murang'a County.
These discussions also lay a strong foundation for Sri Lanka Expo 2027, establishing early connections that position East African businesses to engage deeply with Colombo's upcoming international trade showcase.
Sri Lanka’s software expertise and Kenya’s digital ambitions fit together naturally. Following these engagements, Mudith and the team are focused on turning these initial conversations into solid, long-term tech collaborations across the region.
