If you’ve just recently started work in a charity organisation, how can you make your workplace collaboration & productivity better? 💭 What 🔧 tools & processes should we employ during this seemingly never ending work-from-home season?

Our co-founder Janelle was invited to conduct a 2-hour workshop for the YouthTech trainees, in collaboration with National Youth Council Singapore, Bold At Work and Hatch to share the know-hows of working well & with significance during their work stint.

We are so glad to have received such ✨great✨ feedback in our first run of the Data-Driven Social Media Workshop on 31st August – enabling charities to better leverage social media for digital fundraising. The workshop was recommended by all our participants & many of them put in good words for the trainers from bantu Janelle Lee and Nicholas Ooi, Joel Khoo.

If you missed out on our first run, don't worry! We'll be having our next run of the Data-Driven Social Media workshop on 22nd November!

We have finally completed the 3-Day workshop of The Social Code! 🎉 In our last session, our Co-founder Janelle explored more on the 🧪 Science of Making Friends. Our participants learnt interesting Psychology theories and concepts that help them understand how people react in different social situations better.

We are so ✨ grateful ✨ that every single one of our participants were highly engaged & participative in all our activities. We'd like to thank NUS SoC (NUS School of Computing) for organising this event and all our participants who joined the sessions!

How have remote internships changed the way we communicate with our managers & teammates? 💬🤔

In our second session of The Social Code with NUS School of Computing, our co-founder Janelle deep dived into the important social skills needed to excel while on an internship. Each participant learned how to engage with their team at work intentionally, applying effective strategies for networking, and also making the best out of a remote internship.

We saw a great number of new participants who joined us despite it being a Saturday afternoon, & it was extremely heartening to see everyone being thoroughly engaged throughout the whole session & interacting with each other too! 💯

🎉 Woohoo – our first session of The Social Code on 14 October was a huge success! Our Co-Founder Janelle shared her expertise in communication (yes, she graduated with a degree in Communications at National University of Singapore) to coach NUS School of Computing students on authentic communication, non-verbal & verbal communication cues & engaging in meaningful conversations.

We are so glad to see our participants working on under-emphasised communication skills that are extremely essential in building successful & meaningful relationships in their personal & professional lives – and bonus: they made new friends too! 👏🏻
