Selamat Hari Kebangsaan ke-69, Malaysia. 🇲🇾

This year’s theme, “Malaysia MADANI: Kesejahteraan Dinikmati,” reminds us that progress is most meaningful when it is shared — across communities, industries and generations.

From all of us at Oceanus Media Global, OMG Studios and AP Media, we celebrate the people, creativity and collective spirit that continue to shape Malaysia’s future.

Selamat Hari Kebangsaan!

Some of the best ideas start with something close to home.

With The Time Travelling Hawker, a familiar part of Singapore life becomes the starting point for something unexpected — a story that travels across generations, history and time.

Created with Red Ink Media, the project takes hawker culture and family legacy beyond nostalgia, reimagining them through a contemporary genre and a new generation of storytelling.

That’s what makes projects like this interesting to us at Oceanus Media Global (OMG) : seeing local creators take something culturally familiar and find new ways for audiences to experience it.

Because growing our creative ecosystem isn’t only about telling more stories.

It’s also about giving our own stories more ways to be told.

And here they are — some of the key faces behind Whispers of Fatimah! 🎬🔥

A big moment in Jakarta as the production leads stepped into the spotlight together.

These are some of the people at the heart of Bisikan Desa Gringsing: Whispers of Fatimah — shaping the story, driving the production, and bringing its characters to life on screen.

After everything that went into the film behind the scenes, it was exciting to see the backbone of the production finally getting their moment out front. 👀✨

Meet some of the faces behind Whispers of Fatimah.

See you in Indonesian cinemas 24 September 2026 soon! 🇮🇩

One film. Three countries. And plenty of stories behind how it came together.

The press conference for Bisikan Desa Gringsing: Whispers of Fatimah brought us back to something we’ve valued throughout this project — collaboration.

From Indonesia’s filmmakers and creative talent, to production capabilities across Malaysia and Singapore, this has been a project shaped by people working across borders rather than within them.

Together with Mandela Pictures and the wider team, we’ve watched Bisikan Desa Gringsing move from production, to its international first look at Cannes Film Market, and now one step closer to audiences in Indonesia.

For us at Oceanus Media Global, that journey is as exciting as the technology behind the film. It shows what can happen when Southeast Asian creators, production capabilities and stories connect.

A little glimpse from Jakarta before the next chapter begins.

From the arrival of the cast and production team to the conversations surrounding the film, the Jakarta press conference brought together many of the people who have been part of this journey.

What started as an idea has travelled across Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia — and now it’s getting closer to meeting audiences on the big screen.

Here’s a sneak peek from the day.

Bisikan Desa Gringsing arrives in Indonesian cinemas on 24 September.

A smaller screen doesn’t have to mean a smaller world. 🌌

From ancient settings to neon cities and spiritual realms, Eternal Night shows how vertical storytelling can still carry scale, atmosphere and visual ambition.

What changes is how that world reaches the audience.

Mobile-first formats are opening another space between traditional filmmaking and short-form content — where episodic stories can be quick to watch while still being intentionally produced for the format.

For us at OMG, that’s an interesting space to keep exploring alongside filmmakers and partners such as Aggregate Films.

New screens create new creative questions. We’re looking forward to seeing where storytellers take them next.

Here’s something interesting about Eternal Night: the world was built to be watched vertically. 📱

We usually associate cinematic world-building with a wide screen. But as more stories are created for mobile audiences, that familiar canvas is changing.

For Eternal Night, 9:16 wasn’t simply where the final content would end up. It became part of how the production approached its visual storytelling.

It’s a small shift in orientation with some surprisingly big creative implications.

And perhaps a glimpse at how the next generation of screen stories will be designed.

Big worlds begin with people coming together. 🤝🎬

Eternal Night brought storytellers, performers, production specialists and technical teams together around one story spanning martial arts, fantasy, romance and multiple realms.

There were plenty of moving parts behind every frame, but one shared objective throughout: making each world feel like it belonged to the same story.

A big thank you to Aggregate Films and everyone across the production for the trust, ideas and collaboration along the way.

Here’s a look at some of the people behind those worlds. 🌌
