What Does a CPL Filter Do, and When Is It Most Effective?
CPL stands for Circular Polarizing Filter.

It is an optical filter mounted in front of the camera lens to help reduce reflections and glare, allowing the dashcam to capture a clearer view through the windshield.

👉 When Is a CPL Filter Most Effective?
✅ When strong sunlight illuminates the dashboard
✅ When a light-colored or glossy dashboard creates strong reflections
✅ When reflections of the vehicle’s interior are clearly visible on the windshield
✅ When reflected light from wet roads, glass, or vehicle surfaces obstructs the camera’s view
✅ When the dashcam is used primarily in bright daytime conditions

Deleting files manually every few days? 👀

Before deleting the files, check this setting first.
When Event Video Protection is ON, important event recordings are protected from being overwritten. Over time, these protected files can accumulate and fill up the Event folder.
If you prefer the dashcam to manage the storage automatically, simply turn:
Event Video Protection → OFF
With this setting OFF, Loop Recording will automatically overwrite the oldest event recordings when more storage space is needed.

How to change it:
Settings → Camera → Event Video Protection → OFF
✓ No more frequent manual deletion
✓ Automatic storage management
✓ Keep your dashcam recording smoothly

One simple setting can save you the hassle of deleting files manually.

Q: Can I record throughout the entire time my vehicle is parked?

A: Yes! Choose Impact & Time Lapse Mode if you want to capture more footage throughout the parking period.

Motion & Impact Mode
Records when motion or an impact is detected, helping to save storage space and reduce power consumption.

Impact & Time Lapse Mode
Records continuously in Time Lapse while parked, allowing you to review more of what happened around your vehicle.

Time Lapse uses a lower frame rate, so playback may appear less smooth. However, if an impact is detected, Vueroid automatically saves a separate event recording at full frame rate to capture the important details.
