THTing in eecart PCB Assmebly factory
The process of mounting components with leads on a PCB using plated through holes is known as Through Hole Technology Mounting (THT). Prior to Surface Mount Technology (SMT), all components were mounted on a PCB with leads inserted through holes in the board. This dominant technology persisted in the industry until the 1980s.
