Smart Buddy goes beyond introducing children to contactless payments. It represents the next evolution in everyday digital experiences โ where fintech meets education, financial literacy and wellness to empower students, families, and schools with secure, scalable, and human-centric technology.
Every child starts with a free Smart Buddy Watch and Card, with no minimum spend required. Paired with the Smart Buddy app, families can enjoy a seamless digital ecosystem that brings together financial literacy, healthy habits, and digital readiness.
Children can make contactless payments at Smart Buddy-enabled schools and at various F&B and retail merchants islandwide. Parents can set daily or weekly allowances, monitor spending and savings in real-time, and use the Smart Buddy app to teach responsible money management. And for a fun, hands-on way to learn about saving, Smart Buddy schools offer the Smiley Stamps programme, a simple and rewarding way to encourage good financial habits.
The Smart Buddy watch also promotes healthy living by tracking steps, heart rate, and calories burnt โ helping children build positive habits from young. Beyond physical activity, it offers guided breathing exercises to reduce stress and alert reminders to eat, sleep, and move on time, supporting their overall wellbeing throughout the day.
