Last Friday, Sales and Marketing Director Thomas Palmgren and Key Account Manager Forestry Mikael Frimodig visited Skogsmaskinsdagarna in Karlskoga. 🌲
During the event, we had the opportunity to meet several of our customers who were attending the fair, as well as connect with a number of other interesting companies in the industry.

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting our customer Eco Log , who hosted a demonstration of their new updated 8-wheeled harvester, the 688, just northeast of Östervåla.

This particular harvester is equipped with Dasa Wired 7 — a harvesting system using cable communication to the head for reliable and high-performance operation. Inside the cabin, it runs Dasa H70, our price-list-based optimization bucking system, fully compliant with the latest StanForD standard.

Sales representative Hans Larsson and instructor Pontus Kvarnström were on site, sharing insights and giving customers a closer look at the machine in action.
The cutting site was provided by local contractor Johan Mattsson at Krycklinge Skog AB.

Great to see innovation in the field and to connect with both new and familiar faces!

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming SP Maskiner AB and IDM Canada Inc.

Technicians Anders Svensson and Magnus Hansson from SP were joined by Eric Gauthier from IDM Canada Inc., one of SP’s largest dealers, for an in-depth training session on our various bucking software solutions.
The training was led by Hampus Alfengård together with Lars-Erik Andersson, our senior expert who temporarily returned from retirement to support the session.

Over the past two weeks, Dasa’s Hampus Alfengård has been out in the forest in the near of Tierp, supporting two of our customers participating in the “Virkesvärdestest 2025” (Wood Value Test) carried out by Skogforsk
Equipped with the caliper and fully engaged on site, Hampus assisted our customers as their harvesters were evaluated in real operating conditions focusing on bucking performance and measurement quality.

Seven leading harvester brands were evaluated on measurement accuracy, bucking performance, control systems, and log quality.

We’re proud to be involved and to support our customers in continuously improving efficiency and value creation in the forest.
