We’ve outgrown our old office and moved into our next chapter. 🥂✨
After almost ten years at Svava, we’ve moved Caspeco’s Uppsala office to Juvelen. And now, we’ve had the chance to fill our new space with what matters most: people!
Customers, partners and colleagues came together for our first housewarming, filled with great conversations, food, drinks and plenty of exciting news.
Of course, we also took the opportunity to share a glimpse of what’s coming next. 👀 Our guests got a sneak peek at Casper, our new AI assistant, tried out our new self service kiosks and learned more about how we’re developing the Caspeco platform to make everyday operations easier and businesses more profitable.

Nearly seven laps around Sweden's border 🧾
That's how far the receipts printed through our POS systems would stretch every year.
We're now taking a new step by partnering to enable digital receipts seamlessly within the checkout flow. The result? A smoother experience for both restaurants and guests, while reducing paper consumption at the same time.
We're starting with a rollout across the Nordics, and the feature will be available at no additional cost for our customers.

That’s how much take away revenue increased at Swedish restaurants in April – the month after food VAT was cut to 6%.
This isn’t coincidence. It’s consumers responding to a lower price.
Take away went from 22% → 30% of total revenue. In one month.
Cafés & bakeries: +218% 🥐 Fast food: +50% 🍟 Restaurants: +10% 🍽️
The data is clear: VAT policy changes behavior in real time.
Now we want to see the same for all served food – not just take away.
