“Hyperreal photography” is what Swiss photographer Fabio Antenore calls the style that has earned him worldwide attention and acclaim. If you look at his pictures superficially, you might mistake them for AI-generated or composites from many different images.
But Antenore follows a self-imposed standard of truthfulness in his photography: everything that can be seen in the picture was photographed by him on location. Individual elements of the image were photographed at different times of the day and then combined in post-production and given a suitable lighting mood. This is how spectacular “hyperreal” photos are created.
It's no wonder that Antenore's monitor, the EIZO ColorEdge CG2700X, plays an important role as a window to his magical imagery.
