🚨Planning to Study in Sweden? The Rules for International Students Who Want to Work Have Changed!

Sweden has introduced important new rules affecting international students in higher education. For students at bachelor’s and master’s level whose residence permit was granted on or after 11 June 2026, the possibility of working alongside studies is now more limited. Sweden has introduced important new rules for work permits, and one of the biggest changes concerns the minimum salary requirement. If you are planning to move to Sweden for employment, you should understand these changes before accepting a job offer or submitting your application.
