The Golden Oldies Shop at S:t Eriksgatan 96 in Stockholm, Sweden was opened 40 years ago,
in 1977, by Jan-Erik Ekblom and is the oldest record shop in Scandinavia for collectors of original
pressings of vinyl records issued from 1955 to 1985
In the web shop at www.goldenoldies.se there are about 5000 hand picked
and selelected LP's , singles & EP's in 26 different categories. In the store at S:t
Eriksgatan 96 you can, beside the webshop records, also find several
thousands more records for sale in various categories. Jan-Erik Ekblom is also since 1982 also "Surveyor, Appointed By The Swedish Chamber Of Commerce",
i.e. Valuations are executed on behalf of insurance
companies in cases of thefts, fires, water damage etc. and to law firms in case of bankruptcies, estates, etc. Valuation assignments are also carried out on the behalf of individuals and collectors to have their record
collections evaluated for home insurance etc.
