Tulipp H2020 partners '17 Conference

Tulipp partners took part in the PEGPUM 'Power-Efficient GPU and heterogeneous Multi-/Many-core Computing' workshop on the 24th January.
The workshop was co-organized with four other European projects targeted at improving the power efficiency of GPUs and heterogeneous multi-/many-core systems: LPGPU2, SAFEPOWER, Hercules, and Eyes of Things.

We've uploaded on our website a new document describing
the current progress towards defining the reference platform.

The reference platform is presented in the context of the starter kit, a conceptual package consisting of the platform instance, project applications, and reference platform handbook. The aim of the starter kit is to provide engineers with a generic evaluation platform that serves as a base for productively developing low power image processing applications.

Efforts to produce an efficient way of linking those programming in C with the ability to create hardware have been under way for many years. One of the first tools generated to support this was created in the early 1990s in Oxford University’s Computing Laboratory, where Ian Page developed Handel-C...

PEPGUM 2017 Workshop at HiPEAC

Our “Power-Efficient GPU and heterogeneous Multi-/Many-core Computing” (PEGPUM) workshop has been accepted for inclusion in the HiPEAC event in 2017. The workshop will be held on January 24, 2017 in Stockholm, Sweden, co-located with the HiPEAC conference. This will be the 5th PEGPUM workshop, after PEGPUM 2013, PEGPUM 2014, PEGPUM 2015, and PEGPUM 2016. Previous editions of PEGPUM were organized by the LPGPU and LPGPU2 consortia. Next year’s editions will be co-organized with four other European projects targeted at improving the power efficiency of GPUs and heterogeneous multi-/many-core systems: LPGPU2, SAFEPOWER, Hercules, and Eyes of Things.
