Create dynamic, dancing reverb tails for your chords! ✨

By shifting the Polytone synth up by 7 semitones and feeding an eerie send effect directly into a granular reverb with an added fifth pitch shift, you can craft a rich vapour sound.

Did we mention the reverb is the all new RV-9 Reverb Station, only in Reason 14? Maybe we did forget to mention that important piece of info...

Want to craft dirty, heavy 808s from scratch? 🔊

Learn how to design them in Algoritm! Start by resetting the device and setting up an FM operator, turning the sustain down while keeping a bit of release to prevent clicking. Next, route it into a shaper operator to give it some distortion grit.

To build that punchy transient attack, set Curve 1 to one-shot mode, turn off stepping, and map Curve 1 to control pitch in the modulation matrix. Adjust the curve and rate to refine the attack speed until you hit that perfect kick click!

High vs. Low Pitch: How fast are your vibrations? 🔊

Faster sound vibrations create higher notes (like birds chirping), while slower vibrations produce lower notes (like a deep bass). Mastering pitch lets you shape your sound in endless ways!

Ditch overused side-chaining and give your sound real life with Polytone's tremolo. 🎵

By using mix morphing driven by the global LFO, you can dynamically bounce between two sound layers. Skip the standard sync settings and manually dial in your LFO rate to give your track an organic, delightfully imperfect vibe.12

Discover the versatility of RV9's built-in EQ feature to completely reshape your sound. 🎵

Unlike traditional reverbs or delays that affect every single band, you can use the EQ to cut out the muddy bottom end. Focus your effect entirely on the mids and highs to keep your mix clean and free of unwanted rumble.
