This meet up group was founded in Jan 2012 by Nicolas Belloni, Nicolas Grasset and Stefano Oliva, with the mutual intention of exploring, disrupting, "probing", and hopefully enriching the Sthlm digital environment. The group is aiming at 3 simple goals:
a) always bringing fresh and focused themes around the digital world of Ux
b) always contextualising events in new and different offices, start-ups and companies
c) bringing together people and create a solid and active network around experience design, IXD, UX, development and Sthlm. From the first 20 people showing up at River on a rainy January, now the group counts more than 1500 members. IxDA Stockholm is lead by Stefano Oliva, with the precious help of Yanina Godoy, Rafael Coimbra and Akshay Gite. The partnership with the Interaction Design Association makes it a strong international hub for networking, jobs, events, speakers, entrepreneurship and much more.
