We integrate the most efficient methods for the satellite transmission of IP data in order to minimize the operating costs associated.

Forsway provides hybrid satellite routers and innovative solutions for combining satellite with existing terrestrial technologies – enabling broadband services for the large demographics of users in emerging markets lacking reliable internet access. Our solutions are designed as an extension of terrestrial broadband networks from the sky, using broadcasting satellites for the delivery of broadband

to the subscribers and terrestrial networks (mobile, PSTN or others) to carry the return channel. Our subscriber terminals range from Broadband Internet Access to combined Broadband Internet Acess plus High Definition Satellite TV reception in one only Set Top Box. Forsway can adapt its main solution ForsONEway™ to differenttypes of environments and return channels: from the adaptation of its operation and business support subsystems; to the look&feel of our terminals (design), being also able to integrate different technologies for carrying the return channel traffic from the subscriber terminals. The first end user terminal was developed together with 27M Technologies, another Nokia spin off company and was demonstrated forViasat AB in 2004. Forsway continues to participate in different ”Advanced Research in Telecommunications Systems” product development projects (ARTES 3-4 Products) together with ESA (European Space Agency). This collaboration has enabled both the development and the improve-ment of Forsway’s main solution, ForsONEway™. As of today Forsway has sold more than 35 000 terminals in variousmarkets globally. Forsway is located at Gothia Science Park in Skövde, Sweden.

On April 23rd, Forsway's Anders Brandter and Mugabe Thierry participated in a “Deep Dive” event organised by Space West in partnership with Plug and Play Europe (an innovation platform with 50+ locations globally providing accelerator programs, corporate innovation services and more), and Trafikverket (the Swedish government agency responsible for road, rail, sea, and air transport infrastructure).

🎯 The unique event format provided encourages innovation by presenting the need instead of specifying rigid technical requirements and pre-defined solutions.

📌 Innovators get clarity on what capabilities the customer is actually seeking to obtain, and customers are presented with multiple potential solutions.

Please help us welcome Vinod! At Forsway, Vinod is working with the 5G Core, focusing on AMF and SMF as part of Forsway’s Xtend 5G Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) Satellite Connectivity solution.

➡️ His background spans the recent evolution of mobile networks, from 4G UE physical layer software, through radio access network (RAN) and system engineering, to 5G RAN and core network development. Today, he leverages that end-to-end perspective to bridge radio access, and core network considerations, helping Forsway design and deliver efficient, standards-aligned 5G satellite NTN solutions.
