🧐 What programming languages are most popular when it comes to hiring developers? In this analysis we have looked at thousands of Freecode test assessments and here's what the data tells us:
🔹 Python (26.13%): The most tested language, widely used in backend, AI and automation.
🔹 C # (21.72%) & Java (21.52%): Mainly used for enterprise applications.
🔹 JavaScript (11.47%) & TypeScript (4.09%): Frontend development.
🔹 C++ (9.86%) & C (2.20%): High-performance applications.
🔹 Go (1.69%): Rising in cloud and backend services.
🔹 Other (1.32%): Includes Kotlin, PHP, Rust, Ruby and Scala.
💡 What does this mean for businesses? Well, companies seem to be focusing on Python, C # and Java for core development. Whereas specialised languages like Go, Kotlin and Rust are still niche.
