🤔 Hur kan vi få barn att bli intresserade av programmering, istället för att bara spela spel?

💡 Den ideella organisationen Kodcentrum använder just nu Future Skills plattform för att inspirera och lära barn programmering.

🎯 Lamiya Yagublu, volontär på Kodcentrum, hjälper barnen att förstå grunderna: "De blir väldigt uppspelta när de löser en uppgift och ser “Good job!”-meddelandet med fyrverkerier på plattformen," säger hon. "De animerade delarna gör upplevelsen mer engagerande och interaktiv."

🌟 Vissa uppgifter kan vara en utmaning, men det är en del av magin: "Det är fantastiskt att se deras reaktioner och hur stolta de blir när de lyckas!"

🧐 What programming languages are most popular when it comes to hiring developers? In this analysis we have looked at thousands of Freecode test assessments and here's what the data tells us:

🔹 Python (26.13%): The most tested language, widely used in backend, AI and automation.
🔹 C # (21.72%) & Java (21.52%): Mainly used for enterprise applications.
🔹 JavaScript (11.47%) & TypeScript (4.09%): Frontend development.
🔹 C++ (9.86%) & C (2.20%): High-performance applications.
🔹 Go (1.69%): Rising in cloud and backend services.
🔹 Other (1.32%): Includes Kotlin, PHP, Rust, Ruby and Scala.

💡 What does this mean for businesses? Well, companies seem to be focusing on Python, C # and Java for core development. Whereas specialised languages like Go, Kotlin and Rust are still niche.

👋 Välkommen till teamet, Hannes Denstedt!

De senaste veckorna har Hannes kommit in i sin nya roll här på Future Skill och vi ser fram emot att se honom utvecklas och prata med kunder.

Zebastian Såthén, som har skött onboardingen, delade med sig av sina tankar efter en välförtjänt kaffepaus:

”Att börja i en ny bransch kan vara utmanande, men jag är imponerad över hur snabbt Hannes har anpassat sig. Våra kunder har tur som får honom som kontaktperson! Tyvärr har hans insikter om brittisk fotboll inte riktigt gjort samma intryck på mig.”

Meet Hannes Denstedt! 👋

This week we're excited to introduce Hannes Denstedt, who will be joining us as a Sales Representative intern from IHM Business School. We sat down with Hannes to learn a little more about him:

🏢 What are you most excited about during your internship here at Future Skill and what do you hope to take away from it?
"Future Skill really felt great to me after our first meeting. I’m really looking forward to getting to know the new colleagues and gaining a deeper insight into the SaaS world and all the exciting opportunities it offers," Hannes says.

⚽ Hannes is an outgoing and social person who loves spending time with his family and friends. With a big passion for soccer he is supporting Manchester United.

🧠 Is there any strategy you've learned during your studies that you plan to apply during your time at Future Skill?
"One key lesson is the importance of doing your homework on a company’s needs and future. Being well-prepared is essential and it will always benefit you in the long run," Hannes explains.

💡 At what stage in the recruitment process do you usually send out a coding test? According to our user survey, most recruiters and tech leads send out tests between the first interview and the technical interview.
👉 Do you agree? Or would you rather use the coding test as a way to screen developers before the first interview?
