It is not something we have written ourselves, the sources seem to be Mapcarta and Yoys, whatever those are. Click on the image if you cannot read the whole text. Our supplier of speaker elements have raised their recommended prices by 40-50% due to higher transportation costs and other costs due to the covid-19 pandemic. Most probably this will lead to increased prices for us as a supplier. And, as our margins are small, this will make our kits a bit more expensive in the near future. The prices on valutronic.com are only valid as long as our present stock lasts.

We tested the EU Digital COVID certificate. It works!
My wife and I, who own and run Valutronic, were fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine three weeks ago, and got our certificates on July 1 when the Swedish portal was opened. It was a quick (less than 2 minutes) and easy process. The next day we used them during a trip from Sweden via Denmark to Germany and back, by car. Neither the danish nor german customs seemed to have the scanners ready, though. So they just compared the certificates with our passports. However, I suppose this will change quickly.
So, if you are a EU citizen and plan a trip within EU / EES and are fully vaccinated since 2 weeks or more, you can get it and go on the trip. However, the certificate is only valid three months, so don´t get it until a few days before you need it!

Finally! Covic-19 has made transports very slow.
In mid april we sent two amplifier modules (CM-5018, the modules we use in Poweramp 5) to a custormer in New York. Normally a package from Sweden (where we are) to USA is 4-6 workdays. This one took until june 4 to arrive. Another package, two loudspeaker kits to southern France, which normally takes 3-4 workdays took 3 weeks. Hopefully, when air traffic starts up again now, delivery times will be more normal.
Well, this is what the man from New York wrote the other day:

We are of course glad about it, but certainly not surprised.
Our power amplifier modules have no audible distortion or coloration, the dynamic range is extremely high and there is no detail loss. Very fast small signal transistors and HEXFET output transistors make sure the sound quality is at its peak, and our stable idle current design makes the typical degradation over time that normal class AB amps suffer from a non-problem.

Well, covid-19 has made some changes... Very few airplanes go between Sweden and the american continent, so the post service is very slow, dependent on sea transport (freighters) so instead of 4 - 6 days to New York it is now 3 weeks (or more, if the US customs cannot work as usual because of the corona virus...
Otherwise, we are fine. Sweden is slowly getting herd immunity, so the number of newly infected declines, even as we test more and more groups of people.
We work as usual. The swedich site now has a new "orotacoustic" loudspeaker like our SQ-50C, but much smaller, less than 33 x 34 x 35 cm in size. Can be placed even behind a sofa if you want to, without killing the high frequencies like an ordinary 35 cm high loudspeaker would do behind a sofa.

So far, we seem to have no problems with covid-19 here.
We are healthy, and our suppliers have our components in stock, so for us it is "business as usual". Well, maybe not as usual. We only let one customer at the time into our small shop, due to restrictions from the authorities. (Or two if they are a couple, of couse.)
We deliver to almost all countries in the world, the Post service works as usual, although the transport time to some countries can be a day or two slower than usual.
The ratings on Facebook: 5.0 of 5.0, Google Business also 5.0 of 5.0 possible. We don´t seem to have any real competition. And of those visiting our shop, more than 98 % buy our products either directly or short thereafter.
We have just designed a new, smaller Carlson type speaker (omdidirectional, "ortoacoustic" sound).
We will introduce it on our Swedish website first, but if you are interested, write us an email and we can inform you about how to get it and the cost.

So, the building instructions for the Poweramp 5 are finally ready.
Please have a look at the building instructions, and give us feedback! Are they easy enough to understand?
(We have sold these kits in Sweden to garbage men, café owners, recording engineers, carpenters, musicians et.c. and so far all have succeded in building the amplifier in 1 - 2 hours, using only a pair of pliers and two screwdrivers.)

And the result? A top class audiophile and reference quality amplifier that ready-built easily could sell for ten times the cost of the DIY kit. A HiFi amplifier that will make noone disappointed.
The amplifier uses our CM-5018 power amplifier modules, so the sound is really of top world class. Only discrete components, ultra-fast small signal transistors and HEXFET:s as power output transistors, dual current generators and a current mirror design all results in a totally clean sound. No audible distortion of any kind, even the most complex music is clear with every detail. And a very firm grip on the loudspeaker, resulting in deep, precise bass reproduction as well. So, a power amplifier for audio connoisseurs, recording studios and people who simply want to be able to enjoy music for hours without listening fatigue.

We are currently working on the DIY Poweramp 5 page. Due to heavy workload it takes another day, maybe two. Meanwhile you can see here how far we have come so far:

As you can see, it is a very detailed instruction, so anyone without any previous experience in electronics can build a real first-class power amplifier in 1-2 hours with only pliers and screwdrivers, no soldering at all.

No internet, no phone 7-10 september. All back no normal (hopefully) on tuesday.
Then we will start the development of the new smaller ortoacoustic "Carlsson inspired" speakers. Top quality sound, small size and uncritical positioning of the speakers.
