There is now a dedicated place on senseair.com to learn more about Senseair K96.

K96 is a compact, low-power NDIR sensor platform that measures three gas species simultaneously in a single device. Depending on configuration, it is intended for methane emissions monitoring, N₂O measurement in wastewater treatment and workplaces, and dense urban CO₂ monitoring networks.

K96 is still a prototype rather than an officially released product, and its specifications remain preliminary. The new page provides a closer look at the technology, the problems it is being developed to solve and its intended applications.

By combining multiple measurements in one sensor, K96 aims to reduce system complexity, footprint and cost, making high-resolution gas monitoring easier to deploy at scale.

Introducing Senseair Go.

Senseair Go is our touch free alcohol interlock for vehicles, developed for fast and reliable breath alcohol testing without a mouthpiece.

The product builds on years of research and development within DADSS, the Driver Alcohol Detection System for Safety programme, focused on bringing alcohol detection technology into vehicles in a practical and user-friendly way.

With Senseair Go, the driver can be tested without contact, without consumables and without adding unnecessary friction to daily vehicle use. The system is designed for real-world operation, with rapid testing, low maintenance and a low total cost of ownership.

For fleet applications, Senseair Go is prepared for Senseair SafeStart, our cloud-based platform for connected alcohol screening. SafeStart adds centralised management, identified users, real-time alerts, statistics and reporting, making it easier to manage alcohol testing across vehicles, locations and teams.

Together, Senseair Go and SafeStart support safer vehicle operation while keeping the process simple for both drivers and fleet operators.

Tomorrow, Sweden and Japan meet in the FIFA World Cup in Arlington, Texas. While they will be rivals for 90 minutes on the pitch, the relationship between our countries has been defined by friendship, cooperation, and mutual respect for more than 150 years.

That spirit is reflected in business as well. Asahi Kasei Microdevices - AKM acquiring Senseair in 2018 brought together Japanese and Swedish innovation, creating benefits for both sides through shared expertise and resources.

No matter the result tonight, it's a reminder that competition and cooperation can go hand in hand.

Thank you Sensor+Test 2026!

Three days in Nuremberg with great conversations, live demos and plenty of interest in what comes next for gas sensing.

S12 drew a lot of attention, not least for how much true NDIR performance fits into such a small format. We also had new products, new technology and a new faces at the booth, all adding to a very good week for Senseair.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, challenged ideas and talked sensors with us.

Now that we are home we have plenty of new contacts and new ideas to follow up on.
