VACANCY – RETAIL MANAGER - eWorld Technology
eWorld Technology is seeking an experienced, energetic and results-driven Retail Manager to lead our retail operations and support the continued growth of our IT, Communications and Solar Technology business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Managing and supervising retail staff and ensuring high standards of performance and customer service.
• Training, coaching and motivating staff to improve product knowledge, sales skills and professionalism.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
• Introducing and promoting new IT, Solar and Technology products to customers and developing new sales opportunities.
• Managing inventory and stock levels, including regular stock checks and stock control.
• Ordering stock from local and overseas suppliers and ensuring adequate stock availability.
• Managing retail accounts, sales, payments and basic financial reporting.
• Working with management to improve sales, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Ensuring the retail outlet is professionally presented, organised and customer focused.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should have:
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Retail Management or a similar management position.
• Proven experience in managing and training staff.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, purchasing and stock control.
• Experience in accounts, sales reporting and general retail administration.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer-service skills.
• Good computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility and achieve sales targets.
• Experience or knowledge of IT products, computers, electronics, solar products or technology will be a strong advantage.
