Position: Senior Systems Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
• Help build our next generation cloud platform
• Support the service account managers in customer projects
• Perform product design activities which may require extensive research and analysis
• Be responsible for implementation and maintenance of multiple product modules/sub-systems
• Perform bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products
Qualifications
Must Have’s:
• Tenacious problem solver, will own issues until full resolution
• Extreme comfort in Debian Gnu/Linux and application development
• Programming background in either Ruby or Python
• Experience with virtualization, preferably on multiple hypervisors
• Experience with distributed and large scale filesystems
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals
• Experience working in the cloud computing industry
Nice to Have’s:
• Firewalls, VPNs and additional security layers (LDAP, SSO, 2Factor)
• PXE and automated OS builds
• Mongo / Redis experience
• Kernel module development
