The Presales Engineer will also be responsible for supporting our strategic partners with product knowledge and training, sharing feedback with the SSSIT Product Team
As Technical Pre-sales Consultant the ideal candidate will be confident communicating with customers at all levels. You’ll be confident in assessing the needs of customers and recommending the best use of SSSiT products & Services. There will be a specific focus on ensuring existing customers renew their subscriptions by demonstrating the value of the full product set. You will also be responsible for supporting our strategic partners with product knowledge and training, sharing feedback with the SSSIT Product Team.
Job Role but not limited to:
• Experience in Medical industry products and solutions is plus
• Experience in software integration solutions
• Must be able to work independently to gather business requirements and translate those into solutions
• Complete technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses for assigned accounts
• Build BoQ, Costing Analysis, SOW’s, solution design, HLD’s and Visio’s
• Able to relay technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
• Collaborate with the sales team to build a winning strategy
• Develop strategic relationships with our Partners
• Provide support across multiple technologies
• To attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
• Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes
• Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
• Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to channel partners and internal stakeholders
• Work with Product Management to feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products
• Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities
• Sell technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Provide accurate and timely management information, to include - activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, KPI’s
• Adhere to the Company’s Quality and Business Processes To structure and produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation outlining the cost savings and business benefits to clients of using SSSiT proposition
• To assume responsibility for running a bid team, where relevant Interface with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirement, to ensure smooth transition from Sale to Delivery
• Ability to demonstrate SSSiT Internet products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must demonstrate:
• The ability to appear for work on time, to accept constructive criticism, to maintain and develop positive team cohesive and the ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures
• Minimum three years’ experience in client facing presales role
• Pre-sales support experience
• Excellent presentation skills required.
• Excellent communications, writing and interpersonal skills
• Become a trusted advisor of colleagues and customers
• Assist the Sales Team in scoping engagement during services presales process
• Strong experience in development (object-oriented programing, WebService API REST & SOAP)
• Ability to develop effective working relationships internally
Required Qualification & Experience:
• bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant majors
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in Pre-Sales environment
• Travel up to 50 percent of the time
• Full drivers license and willingness to travel through sales territory Project management experience a distinct advantage
