We’ve fixed the issue with 10.8.5. Simplify no longer crashes under this version of OS X. It will be available via Mac App Store very soon. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by the bug.

Good news, everyone: we’re pleased to announce that Simplify 3.1 is now available to download at the Mac App Store!

This latest version includes Player Switcher feature, so you can easily control all of your players in a single place.

You can easily view all players controlled by Simplify, switch to them (Enter), resume their playback and pause them (Space), change their volume independently (Arrow Up/Down). Don't forget to go to Preferences and bind your own keyboard shortcut for it.

As usual the update comes with some bug fixes and other improvements, including:
– Added a preference to pause previous player when switching to new one;
– Fixed Rdio 2.31 compatibility bug with playback controls and track seeking, fixed Rdio compatibility issues with Tape.im sharing;
– Fixed SoundCloud and other web-players issues;
– Fixed Deezer to be compatible with their new API. Please update your Safari or Chrome extension if didn't update automatically;
– Performance improvements and small bug fixes.
