Another update to Romania's medical leave reimbursement process — and another change payroll teams need to keep track of.
Order No. 909/1.231/2026, published in the Official Gazette on July 24, 2026, updates the reimbursement claim form used to recover sick leave indemnities from Romania's National Health Insurance Fund (FNUASS). Four new reporting positions have been added, allowing companies to report separately:
• Indemnities calculated at 55% (medical leave up to 7 days)
• Indemnities calculated at 65% (8 to 14 days)
• Indemnities calculated at 75% (over 15 days)
• Recalculated indemnity differences, in line with the mechanism applicable since July 1, 2026
It's a procedural change, but an important one. Since July, indemnity differences resulting from recalculations are reported in the month they are determined, rather than by correcting the original reporting period. The reimbursement form has now been aligned with this process.
At Total Soft, we continuously monitor legislative changes so our clients can stay focused on their business. These updates will be included in the next Charisma HCM release, together with the updated D112 reporting structure published by the Romanian tax authorities (ANAF).

🤝 Veste foarte bună pentru studenții și masteranzii Facultății de Științe Economice UTM!

Facultatea de Științe Economice UTM începe un parteneriat cu firma TotalSoft, prin care studenții și masteranzii de la toate programele de studii vor avea ocazia să descopere și să utilizeze Charisma ERP, o soluție software folosită în companii din România și din Europa.

Atelierele facultative susținute de specialiștii TotalSoft incepând cu noul an universitar 2026–2027 vor contribui la dezvoltarea unor competențe practice și la o mai bună înțelegere a modului în care funcționează procesele economice dintr-o organizație, inclusiv e-Factura, SAF-T sau e-Transport.
