Ajman Bank is strengthening its regulatory reporting operations through the adoption of our Elite Reporting Platform.

The RegTech solution delivered in partnership with 4most, a specialist credit risk and analytics consultancy, and Reporting Center, as regulatory reporting technology provider. The initiative strengthens the Bank’s ability to respond to evolving Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) requirements through greater automation, centralized reporting and enhanced control.

The collaboration demonstrates a model for the next generation of RegTech: combining specialist regulatory reporting expertise with purpose-built regulatory technology to help banks move from regulatory interpretation to implementation faster and with greater confidence.

At the Forbes CEE Forum 2026, Elena Unciuleanu, Founder & CEO of Reporting Center, spoke about the growing complexity of regulatory reporting and the strategy behind the company’s international expansion.

“Financial institutions are required to prepare an extensive set of regulatory reports. The volume of data has increased significantly in recent years, while deadlines remain fixed and non-negotiable, and accuracy is critical.

At Reporting Center, we make this complexity easier to manage by combining people with the right mindset and deep regulatory expertise with the technology needed to automate complex reporting processes.”

The discussion also focused on a challenge every technology company eventually faces: how to scale.

Reporting Center has grown organically, recording consistent profitability over the past ten years and financing its expansion from its own profits. In Romania, that growth was deliberately gradual — building the client portfolio while continuously developing and improving the technology behind Elite Reporting Platform.

International expansion, however, required a different approach.

“Regulation differs from country to country, so scaling in RegTech is very different from scaling a conventional software product. We asked ourselves: how can we scale effectively in our niche?

We realized that the answer was to focus on markets with a unified regulatory framework. We found that opportunity in the United Arab Emirates — and once we identified the right market, the next step became clear: scale through partnerships.”

Today, that strategy is taking Reporting Center beyond its home market, demonstrating how technology built in Romania can address some of the most complex regulatory reporting challenges internationally.

Over these 11 years, we have crossed borders, entered new regulatory environments, built long-term partnerships and continued to evolve our technology.

Behind these 11 years are thousands of hours of development, challenging projects, ambitious decisions, trusted partnerships — and, most importantly, a team that kept moving forward.

Perhaps there couldn't be a better day for our anniversary.

Elena Unciuleanu, Founder & CEO Reporting Center, este speaker în cadrul panelului From Garage to Global.

Elena Unciuleanu este creatoare de soft, speaker TEDx și antreprenor în IT; și-a petrecut ultimii 19 ani construind sisteme de raportare pentru bănci.

Absolventă a Facultătii de Matematică și Informatică, a studiat antreprenoriatul în incubatoarele din Statele Unite, iar acum construiește pe plan local o afacere globală.

În 2015, a fondat compania Reporting Center care oferă soluții software de tip RegTech pentru instițutiile financiare din Europa si Emiratele Arabe Unite.

În 2016, a lansat platforma de raportare Elite, care automatizează raportările pe care băncile și companiile trebuie să le transmită către autorități, până în prezent fiind utilizată de peste 20 de instituții financiare bancare, non-bancare și de plată.
