Today, we are in Dubai, at the World Green Economy Summit, listening to an amazing keynote about Smart Cities. Dubai it's really on track to becoming the world's most advanced city by making use of Big Data, IOT, Blockchain and mobile apps.

Key facts:

"Blockchain governance will save us $1,2B every year."

Hopefully a coherent Smart City policy will soon see the light of the day for Timișoara and România as well.

It's been a busy week for our team!

After being part of the winning team of the Blockchain hackathon organized by Urbanize Hub last weekend, we've quickly moved to the Business Days Entrepreneurship Summit, eagerly waiting for visitors at our booth. The great talks delivered in the beautiful Opera House, attracted many curious people at our stand with great questions about our services.

On Thursday, we've officially launched the first Facebook Chatbot in Europe for local public transportation - http://m.me/RATTChatbot

The week ended with our participation at the TechFest Innovators Awards Gala, just in time to meet with the most promising local tech innovators and representatives of corporations for an informal discussion on means of collaboration between academia, civil society and the private sector.

Ca parte din strategia noastră de responsabilitate socială, am decis să dezvoltam pro-bono aplicaţia de mobil pentru iniţiativa Tidysoara (platforma Apple iOS).

Tidysoara - Verde pentru Timișoara îşi propune să implice cetăţenii Timişoarei într-o campanie voluntară de făcut curăţenie în oraş, în data de 14 Mai 2017, iar aplicaţia mobilă poate fi folosită pentru a raporta locaţii cu probleme.

Credem cu tărie că astfel de iniţiative, venite din mediul privat, au puterea să schimbe în bine România şi să influenţeze pozitiv generaţiile viitoare.

Last week, THT was a proud jury member and sponsor of Timișoara's "Academic Mobile Projects 2016-2017" contest. We awarded the most promising idea presented by UPT's students, although it was hardly an easy choice to select the best idea. Next year we'll bring more prizes! :)
