The TryOn functionality allows users to see eyeglasses on their face in real time using their phone or computer camera. No downloads, no friction — just instant visualization directly in the browser.

🚀 New Geo-Aware UX Feature Delivered for Torga Optical’s International Storefronts

I’m excited to share a recently completed custom development for Torga Optical’s international e-commerce platform (nopCommerce) — a fully tailored IP-based geo-detection and dynamic UX localization system.

🌍 What we built:
The international site now automatically detects the customer’s country based on IP and displays a country-specific popup experience, complete with a localized flag, targeted messaging, and clear navigation choices.
Depending on the visitor’s region, the system responds differently:

🇿🇦 🇳🇦 🇦🇺 If the customer is in South Africa, Namibia, or Australia
➡️ They are shown a popup indicating they’re currently on the International Store and are offered a direct redirect to their local country site.
These regions have fully localized domains, so the goal is to guide the customer smoothly to a better shopping experience.

🇮🇪 If the customer is in Ireland
➡️ A tailored popup appears:
“You are on our Ireland Store — free shipping, no import taxes, and 30-day returns.”
The system automatically sets:
Locale Language: English (Ireland)
Shipping Options: Ireland
Currency: EUR

🇦🇪 If the customer is in the UAE
➡️ The popup highlights the localized UAE store benefits such as free shipping, and the platform sets the:
Locale language
Shipping rules
Currency (AED)

🌐 For all other regions:
➡️ The system defaults to the International Store with USD as currency.

🛠 Under the hood:
While nopCommerce provides basic IP detection out of the box, this solution required extensive customization to handle complex, region-specific business logic, dynamic UI rendering, and automatic locale configuration — all while ensuring a seamless and intuitive UX.

The result is a more personalized international shopping experience, better regional compliance, and improved user flow across Torga Optical’s multi-store ecosystem.

One of our latest projects was for Bettr Food
— an eCommerce brand selling across multiple European markets 🌍 (Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Romania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, and internationally).

🚀 Automated Product Returns Integration between NopCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics

Today, we’re excited to share a cool new feature we developed together with our partner NavTech Group for our mutual client.

With this functionality, the client can now fully automate their product return process — making it fast, easy, and secure. 🛍️

🔁 How it works:
- Product returns from nopCommerce are seamlessly integrated into Microsoft NAV.
- Within 30 days after delivery, customers can return products using one of two scenarios:
👤 Registered users can go to their order history and use the “Return Products” button to select which items and how many they want to return.
📨 Guest users can enter their order number and email to access the return page.

📝 On the return page, customers can:
1. Select which products and quantities to return
2. Enter bank account details (account holder name and IBAN)
3. Choose a courier and upload the return shipment waybill

⚙️ In the backend:
A return request is automatically sent to Microsoft NAV
The admin can quickly process the return, issue a credit note, and refund the amount to the customer’s bank account

✅ Once the return is approved and the refund is sent, the customer receives an email notification confirming it
