Our office usually feels like a second home.

It’s why we felt to model it with our own hands, from our own ideas. Like it’s our home.

As a last “deploy” for 2018, we’ve added a fresh new paint on some of the walls. And we brought some life in by building a fully automated aquarium, entirely built in-house. It actually works, like on specs!

All of these made by our own multi-skilled people. We’re very proud!

It’s the International Year of the Periodic Table!

The lightest halogen is also the most electronegative element, meaning that fluorine, F, is desperate to collaborate with other elements to share electrons. Much like F, Figshare users are opening up their science to everyone as it is happening, encouraging exciting collaborations and promoting transparency of and engagement with cutting edge research.

Ian Calvert is the Lead Data Quality Engineer at Digital Science. He’s spent the last 5 years working with scholarly data, integrating a wide variety of sources into unified models, enriching them and performing analysis on the results. He’s worked on the CC0 GRID database to help link data about research institutes, the algorithms for affiliation disambiguation and on the data quality of Dimensions, as well as lots of custom analysis work for clients.
