Last evening, ShareIT went full AI mode once again. But not the “AI will replace humanity by Friday” kind of AI.

Our latest online edition, cleverly titled “Not another AI Agents presentation – What are AI Agents?”, was intentionally named after the exact thought most people probably have these days after seeing their 48th AI webinar invitation this month. And honestly? Fair enough.

That’s precisely why Eduard Bosnea and Andrei Mutescu, both C # Specialists and passionate AI enthusiasts at CGM Software Romania, decided to take a different approach: less buzzwords, more substance; less hype, more architecture; less “look what ChatGPT did,” more “here’s how AI systems actually work in production environments.”

During the session, CGMers explored:
• the difference between AI Agents and AI Workflows;
• when autonomous systems actually make sense (and when a simple workflow is the smarter choice);
• orchestration patterns for multi-agent systems;
• implementation strategies, scalability and security;
• prompt injection risks, hallucinations and “SlopSquatting” (yes, apparently even AI can install fake dependencies with too much confidence);
• and some very real anti-patterns where things fail spectacularly while everyone politely calls it “part of the learning journey.”

One of the strongest ideas from the session? Agent = Model + Harness. Meaning the real challenge isn’t just the model itself, but everything around it: context engineering, tool orchestration, monitoring, security, failover mechanisms, architecture decisions, and making systems actually usable in real-world environments.

We love these kinds of sessions because they reflect who CGMers are: curious people who don’t just jump on trends because they’re trending. People who want to understand technology deeply, question it critically, and explore how it can responsibly help us build better software and better digital healthcare solutions worldwide.

Huge thanks to Edi and Andrei for a technical, honest, practical, and engaging ShareIT edition. Turns out that another AI presentation can still be worth attending after all.

Mondays are for fresh energy, strong coffee, and words that remind us why leadership matters.

So, this week, we’re starting with inspiration from one of the people who inspires others every single day at CGM Software Romania: Irina Mihaela Costache, Team Lead Smart Update & License Management.

At CGM, leadership is never just about processes, deadlines, or titles. It’s about people lifting people. About creating trust, keeping the human connection alive, and helping teams grow together professionally and personally.

Irina has been part of the CGM journey for years, growing from developer to Team Lead through determination, empathy, resilience, and the kind of leadership that balances grit with heart. And maybe that’s exactly why her words resonate so much with us.

Because the best leaders don’t just move projects forward. They move people forward, too.

Some companies measure success in deadlines, deliveries and KPIs. We do too. Among others. But we also believe something equally important deserves a seat at the table: Joy.

That’s why we’re genuinely happy to share that our colleague Andreea Marc, Head & Heart of Communication, will be speaking at the conference ”Joy @ work”, organized by the wonderfully energetic people from Ludic - joc & minte.

At CGM, “joy at work” is not about bean bags, random perks or pretending every Monday feels like Friday morning. It’s about building a place where people work with purpose, create software products for the international eHealth market, grow professionally, support each other, laugh together, and genuinely enjoy being part of the journey.

Because yes, meaningful work matters. But so does having people around you who know how to turn an ordinary workday into a really good one.

During the event, Andreea will share how we continuously bring this mindset to life for our CGMers every day, and why creating joy at work is not a “nice to have”, but an essential part of any people-centered company culture.

Participation is free, but spots are limited and registration requires confirmation from the organizers. So if you’d like to join, this might be your sign to register fast: https://forms.gle/bumanGyi71cqBu327

When you pass by the CGM building in Tudor area, you probably just see a lot of very big, very blue windows.

But there’s so much more behind them.

There are over 200 CGMers drinking coffee together in the morning (and all day long), laughing in the hallways, brainstorming around whiteboards, organizing quiz nights “just for fun” that somehow become extremely competitive… and then going back to building medical software that truly matters.

There are colleagues going on test drives organized by us, joining sports championships, wellbeing activities, AI events, ShareIT sessions and book clubs… while also creating CGM’s own software products for the international healthcare market.

Behind these windows, there are professionals who work with purpose… but also know how to genuinely have fun together.

Right here in Iași, our teams build digital health solutions that help doctors, medical staff and patients around the world gain two of the most valuable things in life: more time for what matters and better health for a better life.

And maybe that’s our favorite thing about this place: the fact that real impact and a warm, human atmosphere can exist at the same time.

This year, CGM Software Romania turns 10. 10 years of people, ideas, inside jokes, launches, challenges, growth, friendships and purpose.

So maybe it’s time to discover what’s actually behind these windows. Meet the people. Hear the stories. Create the future of eHealth together with us.

Take a look at our open roles. Maybe… it’s your CGMoment to come behind the big blue windows.

Not all growth at work happens in front of a screen. Sometimes, it starts with a conversation about confidence, details, materials, presence… and the way you show up in the world.

This week, a few curious CGMers stepped outside the coding routine and joined a style workshop together with Tudor Personal Tailor in Iași. And no, this wasn’t a workshop for salespeople or executives. It was for developers, technical leads, QA specialists and IT professionals genuinely interested in learning something new, useful and unexpectedly fascinating.

Because even in tech, personal style is more than clothes. It’s about attention to detail. Understanding context. Reading people and situations. Feeling comfortable in your own skin. Building confidence before an important meeting, presentation, interview or event. And maybe most importantly: expressing professionalism in a way that still feels authentic to you.

During the workshop, our CGMers explored the history and evolution of classic menswear and womenswear, dress codes, styling architectures, business attire, luxury materials, and the psychology behind professional image. And yes… things got very hands-on by the end: touching natural fabrics, discovering the difference between wool, cotton and merino wool, trying on jackets, blazers, jeans, sunglasses and even exploring fragrances.

As Sergiu Miron, Technical Lead and one of the participants, shared:

“I genuinely enjoyed the workshop organized by CGM in collaboration with Tudor Personal Tailor and, honestly, I can say it truly exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and hosts had a vibe of their own. The experience was both insightful and practical, offering a deeper understanding of essential materials in industry such as wool, cotton or merinos wool, as well as how to recognize quality and make better styling choices. What stood out the most was how approachable and applicable everything felt. From learning different luxury materials/brands to understanding how to properly match and style a suit. It wasn't just theory, but knowledge you can actually use in everyday life. For me, these kinds of events are useful because we 'use' Andreea's connections to meet new people/places/brands and, of course, we escape from the coding routine. Thanks again for the experience (and for the discount).”

At CGM, we genuinely believe people grow faster when they are exposed to different perspectives, experiences and communities. Even the unexpected ones. Technology matters. Skills matter. But so do curiosity, confidence, human interaction and the courage to keep learning outside your comfort zone.

And honestly? We hope we never become “just” a workplace where people come to code and go home. We want CGM to keep being a place where great professionals also discover passions, ideas, people and experiences they didn’t even know they were looking for.

Not every afternoon at CGM is spent in front of a laptop. Sometimes is less “meeting room”, more “open road”.

For the second time already, we teamed up with the amazing team from Premium Nordic Cars - Dealer Volvo Iasi for a Volvo test drive experience dedicated to our CGMers, an event built around curiosity, innovation, good conversations and, yes… a little bit of adrenaline too.

And honestly? These moments matter more than they may seem at first glance.

Because a great workplace is not built only through projects, deadlines and strategy meetings. It’s also built through experiences that bring people together outside their daily routines. Through opportunities to disconnect from the usual rhythm, try something new, laugh together, discover shared passions and simply enjoy being part of a community.

At CGM, we genuinely believe that company culture happens in these moments too:
• when colleagues exchange impressions after driving an electric Volvo for the first time;
• when teams bond naturally outside work topics;
• when people feel seen, appreciated and part of something bigger than their daily tasks.

And the energy? Absolutely fantastic.

A special congratulations goes to Claudiu Tamaș, one of our CGMers celebrating 10 years with the company this year, who won the raffle prize: an entire weekend with a Volvo electric model. A pretty good way to celebrate a decade at CGM, if you ask us.

As Claudiu said:
“After 10 years at CGM, what still surprises me is how much the company keeps investing in experiences that bring people together. It’s never just about work here. It’s about people, memories and the feeling that you genuinely belong. It was a really great experience to test drive a small car (but with a lot of power), fully electric. It was a different kind of break from the daily routine. An interactive break where I got to ‘play’ with the EX30 enough to say that I’d definitely love to drive this car even more. I truly enjoyed the experience and I’d gladly join many more initiatives like this at the office”.

This is one of the reasons why we love building CGM together: meaningful work, ambitious people, healthcare impact… and plenty of moments that simply make you happy to be here.

10 years ago, we started building something meaningful in Romania. Today, CGM Software Romania is home to 30+ own software products created for international healthcare markets, by a team of over 200 professionals that keeps growing with purpose, ambition and a lot of heart.

We create technology that helps medical professionals work smarter, faster and better. Because healthcare deserves software that truly makes a difference.

In our year, we’re growing even more. New roles. New ideas. New CGMers.

Wanna be part of the story? Check out our open roles in May and drop us a friendly Hello at [email protected].

Some evenings at CGM don’t look like “after work” and more like something you don’t want to miss. They look like a room full of brilliant minds… quietly competing, intensely thinking, and occasionally laughing out loud for no apparent reason.

Last night was one of those evenings. Our colleagues, Alina Gherghel and Oana Agafiței, QA Specialists and masterminds behind The QA Knowledge Quest, turned a regular evening into a 5-round challenge of puzzles, riddles, tricky questions, and “wait… this is actually harder than it looks” moments.

They invested hours into crafting every detail. And it showed. The passion, the precision, the care for the experience… everything was there.

We already knew we have very, very good people at CGM. But even we were surprised when participants solved what was planned as a 1-hour challenge in… under 30 minutes. Yes. That happened.

For a while, the room went completely silent. Not because people were bored. Quite the opposite. Because when CGMers focus, they really focus.

And then came the well-deserved winners:
1. First place: Anda Damian, QA Specialist – for the first time winner after years at CGM (and former quiz organizer herself)
2. Second place: Mihai Diaconescu, Product Owner – a familiar name in our quiz hall of fame
3. Third place: Anca Gheorghiu, QA Specialist – quiz enthusiast, already promising us a future health-themed edition

After the quest, things went back to what we do just as well: talking, laughing, connecting… and, of course, a few people stayed behind to finish the quest anyway. Because that’s who we are. We don’t leave things halfway done. Even when the game is technically over.

And maybe that’s the most beautiful part of evenings like this: they’re not just about games. They’re about curiosity. About people who genuinely enjoy thinking together.

About teams that can be both incredibly sharp… and incredibly human at the same time.

At CGM, we build software that supports healthcare systems. But in evenings like this, we build something just as important: a culture where people show up fully with their minds, their energy, and their sense of humor.

And if you’re wondering… yes, we take our fun seriously.

There’s a special kind of energy that happens when brilliant people choose to share not just their expertise, but also their humanity. And that’s exactly what happened recently at a new edition of People of Mind hosted at CGM Software Romania by the one and only Rareș Chelmuș.

We had the honor of welcoming Adriana Truong for an evening that felt less like a classic talk and more like one of those unforgettable conversations with good people in a warm living room. Honest, inspiring, thought-provoking and deeply human.

Adriana brought with her the experience of building, mentoring and connecting communities across the world, from Silicon Valley to Australia, London, Amsterdam and, of course, Romania. But beyond the impressive career journey, what truly resonated with everyone in the room was the person behind it all: the woman, the partner, the mother, the builder of people and meaningful connections.

What stayed with us most was a simple but powerful reminder: meaningful things are built person by person, conversation by conversation, choice by choice. The evening was filled with honest lessons about earning trust, creating opportunities instead of waiting for them, giving before asking, staying consistent when things get hard and surrounding yourself with people who challenge you to grow. Because in the end, careers, communities and innovation are never built by titles alone, but by people brave enough to build with purpose and with each other.

We also loved discovering more about Frontiers: Iasi, the community founded by Adriana and David Truong, a space dedicated to builders working on the edges of technology and innovation.

A huge thank you goes to Rareș Chelmuș, founder of People of Mind, for once again bringing together such an amazing community of curious, ambitious and authentic people. Events like these remind us why strong communities matter so much and how powerful meaningful conversations can truly be.

And since we already know Rareș is preparing the next edition and the next amazing guest… stay close. Something tells us you won’t want to miss what’s coming from now on.
