Real-life case studies, practical tips, scientific research, and a few eye-opening discoveries about our own bodies. That pretty much sums up our latest Postural Health Workshop at CGM Software Romania.

Mircea Ardeleanu from ARRA Medical Center shared insights from his extensive experience as a physiotherapist who has worked with thousands of people, including renowned professional athletes.

From posture and movement to prevention and recovery, Mircea walked us through real cases, research findings, charts, and practical recommendations we can actually apply in our daily lives.

And there's more to come. Following the 3D postural assessments our CGMers participated in throughout September, each colleague will receive a personalized report, recommended exercises, and a concrete movement plan tailored to their individual needs. Because awareness is important, but knowing what to do next is even better.

Sabin Cazacu from MedLife joined us with a fascinating presentation of their new genetic testing solution. And we have to admit, he genuinely blew our minds. Another impressive reminder of what modern medicine can achieve when medical expertise meets advanced technology and AI-powered tools. And how exciting the future of personalized and preventive healthcare looks.

At CGM, we believe that people who develop healthcare solutions should also have the knowledge, resources, and support to take good care of their own health. That's why wellbeing is an ongoing commitment for us, not just another benefit on a list.

A productive week looks good on people. So do those smiles. Last week, our FIRE Teams brought colleagues working on PRAXIS, ChatCGM and DokuAssistant together in Iași. Coordinating all three projects is Adrian Barna, VP Software Development at CGM Software Romania Global Engineering Center and one of our global FIRE Team Leads.

Joining them was Vladislav Vorobev from Endgame, our consulting partner helping us accelerate the integration of AI agents into our engineering workflows and healthcare products, with solutions shaped around the teams’ actual needs.

For Vlad, the curiosity started in 1999, with his first computer at 14. Click after click, he kept discovering more. A puzzle lover, he had found something he wanted to understand completely. Trying his first AI model a few years ago brought back that same revolutionary feeling, with the conviction that this would change both work and everyday life. Today, alongside his work in IT and AI, he helps grow the community of AI enthusiasts he started three years ago in Málaga, where he lives with his family.

Across the global CGM business units he has visited, what has stood out for him is people’s willingness to get involved: engaged, dedicated colleagues, ready to work through the change together. That was very much the spirit in Iași, too.

The days were full: workshops, planning, reusable components, clearer product requirements, AI-assisted testing and discussions about what comes next. The teams reported that all objectives were met, and everyone was happy with the results. The photo captures that feeling rather well.

One point from our conversation with Vlad stayed with us: as AI moves faster, engineering discipline matters even more. Clear goals, critical thinking and a focus on delivering something useful.

In eHealth, that purpose is close to us: supporting healthcare professionals, easing documentation and helping them make more time for patients, with clinical expertise guiding the work.

There were also long conversations after work about life, plenty of laughter and a new favorite for Vlad: „ciorbă rădăuțeană”. Málaga may have the sunshine, but our region made a strong case for its soup.

To sum up this week, we might say this: We are great professionals who also know how to have fun together. And the work continues. Team after team, wave after wave, project after project, we create the future of eHealth together.

“We should not normalize pain.” - This was one of the messages Dr. Alexandra Cristofor left with us during our latest Insightful session this week. And it stayed with us.

And we’d like to add something to it: „We should normalize conversations like this in the workplace”. Conversations about women’s health. About what happens to our bodies at different stages of life. About symptoms we tend to dismiss, pain we learn to live with, changes we don’t always understand and questions we sometimes feel uncomfortable asking.

Our latest Insightful turned out to be much more than a medical presentation. Women joined us from the room and online, CGMers, but also mothers, wives, partners and friends whom our colleagues invited to be part of the conversation. And what a conversation it was.

We talked about our daughters and adolescence. About hormones and reproductive health. About endometriosis and why pain should never simply become “normal”. About perimenopause and menopause, and the physical, cognitive and emotional changes that can come with them. About prevention, symptoms, treatment and knowing when to ask for medical help.

But mostly, we talked like people. We listened. We recognized ourselves or women we love in what we heard. We asked questions. We laughed. We learned. And we talked about subjects that deserve much more space than we usually give them.

A huge part of that was thanks to Dr. Alexandra Cristofor, Specialist Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Coordinator of the Menopause and Endometriosis Center at Regina Maria Iași.
This is exactly how we wish every encounter with a doctor could feel: human, warm, smiling and empathetic while also incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Thank you, Dr. Cristofor, for making a room full of people feel comfortable enough to talk openly about things that are not always easy to talk about.

And thank you to Regina Maria - Rețeaua de Sănătate, who have become a trusted partner for CGM Romania in several of our health initiatives. We’re especially happy that this partnership doesn’t end here: we’re already looking forward to continuing together next year, with new projects around health, prevention and topics that genuinely matter to our people.

Because caring about people’s health shouldn’t start when something hurts. And it shouldn’t depend on age, gender or job title.

At CGM, we build technology for healthcare every day. But healthcare is also personal. It is our colleagues, our children, our partners, our parents, and ourselves. This is the kind of company we want to keep building: one where great professionals do meaningful work, but where the human being behind the professional always matters.

Three Davides, one Ivan, one Ovidiu, one Eugeniu, a lot of coffee, and one very intense week with Stella. Last week, our office welcomed another group of colleagues working together as part of Fire Team 1, this time focused on Stella. Or, as many CGMers know it internally, Pharmacy.

Joining us in Iași were Davide Romele - Product Owner, Davide Ferrari – Developer, Davide Longhi – Developer, and Ivan Podobed - ENDGAME Coach. The team is coordinated by Ovidiu Drîmbă, VP Software Development, the man leading the charge of our famous Stella project into this fire journey.

The photo caught them right in the middle of work, just after a short coffee break. And “middle of work” is quite accurate: for an entire week, they worked from morning until evening on implementing and improving AI within Stella.

This is exactly what our Fire Teams and ENDGAME are about: bringing people together across CGM, giving them the space and focus to work intensely on real AI use cases, experimenting, challenging existing ways of working and turning all that learning into something useful for our products.

And no, it wasn't one of those weeks where everything magically worked on the first try. Ovidiu summed it up best: „There were obstacles and still are on the horizon. There have been some frustrating moments. There have been difficult moments. But in the end it's about working through them together and to successfully complete the implementation process with results we can genuinely be proud of.”

There wasn't much time left for sightseeing. But there was enough time for some traditional Romanian dinners and for our guests to make one very important discovery: Iași takes specialty coffee VERY seriously. And we completely agree.

They also mentioned that our office feels much nicer and more welcoming than certain other offices they've visited. We will absolutely not reveal who said that. We will simply accept the compliment and, of course, agree.

Another intense week of international collaboration, AI, eHealth, problem-solving, coffee and the occasional frustration successfully survived.

And the Fire Teams story in Iași isn't over. This week, we're already welcoming another Fire Team visit. Stay tuned to see who's coming next and what we're building together this time.

We spend our days building technology for better healthcare. But we also need to check how the people building it are doing, right?

Over the past two weeks, our meeting rooms looked a little different: less laptops, more squats, balance tests and 3D scans.

Together with Mircea Ardeleanu from ARRA Medical Center, our CGMers had the opportunity to take part in a 3D postural assessment with Moti Physio, a closer look at posture, mobility, balance and the small imbalances our bodies collect along the way. Especially when many hours of our working lives are spent in front of a screen.

So… what did Mircea discover about CGMers? We’ll find out very soon, during a dedicated workshop where he’ll walk us through the overall findings and, more importantly, what we can actually do with them.

But this wasn’t just a company-wide snapshot. Every participant will also receive an individual detailed report, together with personalized exercise recommendations based on their assessment. Because mobility matters. Prevention matters. And taking care of our health before something starts hurts matters even more.

For a company working every day to shape the future of eHealth, health cannot be only something we build software for. It also has to be something we make room for in our own everyday lives. One scan, lots to learn about ourselves.

Summer batteries: charged. Autumn mode: ON. CGMers: back together, laughing loudly and ready to build what’s next.

Our first Townhall after the summer break had exactly the energy we needed for the final stretch of the year: fresh minds, plenty of plans, many new colleagues and roles, a serious amount of AI work happening across CGM, and, because we are who we are, a LOT of laughter.

Chris handed over the hosting mic to Edi Bosnea, one of our C # and AI experts. And Edi absolutely owned it. Natural, sharp, funny, relaxed, keeping the room engaged and making us laugh from beginning to end. Apparently, being great with C # and AI was not enough. He had to unlock Townhall host too.

Chris still claimed his usual spot for Thoughts of the Month, this time talking about something we’ll hear a lot about in the coming months: growth. More people, more expertise, more things to build together.

Then came another Townhall first: Georgiana Chiriacescu, one of our IT Recruiters, took the stage to welcome our newest CGMers, walk us through the many roles currently open and remind everyone about our referral program. First time presenting at a Townhall. Zero signs of it.

For Success Stories, Loredana Armanu, VP Software Development, took us straight into what has been keeping many brilliant minds across CGM very busy lately: the people, work and AI initiatives coming out of our global FIRE Teams.
Next up, Andreea Marc, Head & Heart of Communication, opened the calendar of upcoming events and campaigns. Oh boy. We have things to do.

Chris returned for Noticeboard: What Else Do You Need to Know?, before Edi wrapped everything up exactly as he had started it: brilliantly, naturally and with the room laughing.

And that might be the best way to enter autumn. Summer gave us time to recharge. Now we’re bringing that energy back together across teams, roles and expertise for the last months of a very special year for CGM Software Romania – Global Engineering Center.

New colleagues. New challenges. New ideas. A lot of work ahead. And a room full of great professionals who know how to have fun together while creating something meaningful.

Let’s make this autumn count, too.

Some backpacks carry laptops. Others carry crayons, snacks and a favorite toy. September has its own kind of energy. The little ones are going back to kindergarten and school. The grown-ups are coming back from holidays, reopening laptops, calendars and conversations left somewhere before summer.

Different backpacks. Different kinds of first days. And somehow, the same feeling: a new beginning. This photo, taken by one of our colleagues on the first morning back, made us smile. And maybe feel a little emotional, too. Because while our children are busy learning, discovering, asking a million questions and creating the future in ways we can't even imagine yet, we're back at CGM Software Romania – Global Engineering Center, doing our small part to create the future of eHealth.

And this September feels particularly special. 2026 is the year we celebrated our first 10 years in Romania. Ten years of people, code, mistakes, ideas, friendships, challenges, milestones and stories worth remembering.

Now autumn is here, and we still have a few good chapters to write before this anniversary year ends. New projects. New colleagues. Quite a few new jobs. And plenty of work waiting for us.

So yes, we're back. Back to school. Back to kindergarten. Back to work. Different backpacks. Same big future ahead.

Let’s make the last months of 2026 count.
