Last weekend was amazing! Our colleagues in Montenegro had their first teambuilding. And along with some colleagues from Cluj and Germany, they got to know each other better, work together in order to complete various tasks, and overall, everyone had a great time.

Montenegro is extremely beautiful, and we feel very lucky to have a team in a country this stunning. At the end of the day we had a group of colleagues from different parts of the world, wearing adventurous smiles, gathered at the breathtaking landscapes. It was a weekend of bonding, laughter and teamwork.

Teambuildings always show us that, amidst our busy work lives, there’s always room for adventure, fun and the chance to build memories together. We can’t wait for the next one!

Last weekend we went on an adventure! Well, on our annual teambuilding, actually. But what is a teambuilding if not an adventure? We had a beautiful location in the heart of the forest (big up Pensiunea Sibiel), and a whole day filled with activities that we got to complete together.

We got split into five teams and then given various tasks. We had a scavenger hunt, a riddle and a puzzle that one of the team’s members had to complete blindfolded while his teammates were giving them instructions. Then we had to write down our core values and choose the teams’ names based on them, each team had to design a representative logo, make a paper plane and launch it. Some planes had a great trajectory, others crashed despite our colleagues’ creative ways to launch them.

After all of that, we needed some refreshments, so we got a cocktail making competition. We thought this would easy, but we were very wrong! Then we had our last activity, blanket ball! Think volleyball, but instead of your hands you use a blanket. Now that was FUN!

All in all, it was a great day with interesting and creative activities. We’re looking forward to our next adventure!

Morgen ist der Tag, auf den wir gewartet haben! Begleitet uns am Europatag in Sibiu um 19:00 Uhr in der Thalia-Halle der Staatlichen Philharmonie. "Die Liebessymphonie" - ein Konzert, das unter der Schirmherrschaft des Konsulats der Bundesrepublik Deutschland in Sibiu organisiert wird. " Die Liebessymphonie" präsentiert einen einzigartigen Dialog zwischen Wissenschaft und Kunst, unterstützt vom Dirigenten Vladimir Agachi und dem renommierten Psychologen Daniel David, zusammen mit der Young Famous Orchestra.

Bei VIVAJO sind wir geehrt, unsere Unterstützung der Symphony of Love auszusprechen. Die Musik wird von der unglaublich talentierten Young Famous Orchestra unter der geschickten Leitung von Vlad Agachi aufgeführt werden. Das Orchester wird eine nachdenkliche Rede des angesehenen Professors Daniel David, Rektor der Babeș-Bolyai Universität, begleiten. Die Symphony of Love wird von VIVAJO gesponsert und am 9. Mai in Sibiu aufgeführt werden, der auch Europatag ist.

The music will be performed by the incredibly talented Young Famous Orchestra under the skillful guidance of Vlad Agachi. The orchestra will punctuate a thought-provoking lecture from the esteemed Professor Daniel David, Rector of Babeș-Bolyai University. The Symphony of Love is sponsored by VIVAJO and will be performed in Sibiu on May 9th, which also happens to be Europe Day.

On May 1st we’re always celebrating International Workers’ Day, also known as Labour Day in some countries. The most popular way to celebrate it in Romania, is to indulge in one of our favorite traditional foods: mici, or mititei. Romanians either grill the mici themselves in their backyards or parks with designated cooking areas, or get them as street food from various Labour Day fairs. The best way to serve them is with mustard, bread and a nice, cold beer!

As everyone has a day off today, and is probably out getting some mici right now, looks like there’s nothing left to do but wish you all a happy Labour Day! What food do you prefer to celebrate this day with? 🍽

If you were to say we love showing our colleagues off… you’d probably be right 😊 Our star today is Liviu, one of Vivajo’s most valuable assets, and also the Chief Experience Officer. We can confidently say the company’s a better place with him on board.
