It was about time to stretch our paws outside the office! 🐺☀️

We caught some of the last sunny days before autumn fully settles in and spent time together away from laptops and sprint boards. The challenges were where we had the most fun, with every team trying to figure things out on the spot and cheering each other on along the way. 😄

Last week two of our wolves took the stage at PROW On Tour in Cluj! 💛

On October 1st, the local Product community gathered to explore what happens to Product when code becomes cheap. We were glad to co-host the event together with Accesa and to have Alexandra Retegan, our Head of Product, and Cristian Vîrciu, our Head of Product Design, on the panel "When Code Is Cheap: The New Economics of Product". They shared the stage with Andrei Firoiu Co-Founder of PROW Conference, and with David M. Stan, Head of Product at Accesa and Raluca Piteiu-Apostol Product Manager, Consultant & Trainer at Accesa.

The panel looked at how AI is changing the way software gets built and why questions about what to build and who it's for matter more as a result.

AI can take you from zero to 60% in a weekend. Last Thursday, we spent the evening on the part that takes a lot longer. 🐺

On the panel, we had Dr. Anca D. Goron, who looks at it through research and policy, as founder and CEO of AVA Research and a member of Romania's Scientific and Ethics Advisory Council for AI. Mihai Naș follows it across the local ecosystem as president of Cluj Startups. George Retegan has lived it as an engineer turned founder, with Baza7 and anseron.ai. Our own Victor Motogna, Head of Engineering at Wolfpack Digital, works through it every day alongside our engineers.

The questions started very practical, with how far someone with no development background can realistically get on their own. They moved on to what founders usually run into later, such as what breaks first once real users arrive and how much time and money it takes to get to a product people rely on and pay for. We also made room for teams building internal tools for themselves, and how they can tell whether it's worth the cost.

This year at DevTalks Cluj-Napoca, our founder and co-CEO, Gina Lupu, joined Emil Petru, Levente Tamas and Tiberiu Cifor on the Main Stage for the panel "AI Everywhere: Where Do We Draw the Line?"

The discussion looked at how we stay responsible and keep the human side of work intact as AI moves into everyday decisions. As an AI-native agency, this is a conversation close to what we do every day, and the whole pack was proud to see Gina bring her perspective to it.

Awoo from Dublin! 🐺

Last night the pack took over Neary's for an evening about everything that comes after the first AI-built version works.

Dublin is home to our second office, and we come back regularly to spend time with the founders and builders here. More and more people are getting a first version of their product working with AI in a weekend. The harder questions start after that, and they're the ones our team deals with frequently. We wanted to talk them through with people who've lived them, and give everyone in the room a chance to ask their own.

On the panel we had Kevin Mannion, founder and CEO of Workstuff AI, who built his product after years of delivering large tech programmes at Accenture. Frankie Dolphin, co-founder of BrightCore, trained as a civil engineer before moving into software. Our own Victor Motogna, Head of Engineering at Wolfpack Digital, builds AI features with our team and mentors early-stage founders.

We asked how to tell whether what AI built is any good, what breaks first when real users show up, and how hard it is to move off the tool that got you started. The conversation then turned to the real cost of going from a working prototype to a product people pay for, what changes when you build in finance, legal or health, and when it's time to bring someone in.

The pack has landed in Dublin 🐺

A new panellist is joining us this Thursday for "AI takes you from zero to 60 in a weekend. What about the rest?", our panel in Cluj about what happens after the quick start with AI!

Dr. Anca D. Goron, founder and CEO of AVA Research, will sit alongside Mihai Naș, George Retegan and Victor Motogna to talk about what happens after AI gets you from zero to 60.

Anca holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and has spent over 20 years working across deep tech, smart cities, data security and space. She has founded two AI ventures, one of them acquired, and today AVA Research works with governments and public institutions on AI governance and sovereign data infrastructure. She also serves on Romania's Scientific and Ethics Advisory Council for AI, and Forbes and Stanford have both recognised her among the top women in founding and data science.

She has spoken about responsible AI at ForumPA in Rome, the UK Parliament in London, the Palais du Luxembourg in Paris and NYU Abu Dhabi. On Thursday, she brings that conversation to Cluj.
