Cluj-Napoca We are a team of about 400 people located in the centre of the city.

Two days of sharing what we know, learning from each other, and starting conversations that will continue beyond TechspertsCon.

This year, TechspertsCon brought together speakers from Cluj, Würzburg, the US and the Netherlands offices, sharing their experience, technical challenges and lessons learned with colleagues across Garmin.

With sessions taking place in our office in Cluj and Garmin Würzburg GmbH and streamed live to seven Garmin offices, the conversations reached well beyond the conference rooms, creating more opportunities to learn from each other and connect across teams and locations.

Four editions in, TechspertsCon continues to give these conversations a place to happen.

𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀𝗖𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸.

Today, we opened the 4th edition of TechspertsCon, bringing together colleagues from Garmin offices around the world to share ideas, lessons learned, technical expertise, and the experiences behind them.

Over the next two days, speakers from multiple countries will take the stage, while sessions are streamed to audiences across Garmin in Europe.

What makes TechspertsCon special is not just the technology being discussed. It's the willingness to share knowledge openly, learn from one another, and create connections between people working on different products, challenges, and technologies.

The forest. The stairs. The tough moments. The smiles. The finish.

Different distances and different goals, but one community moving together.

That was the first 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗷 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻.

To everyone who ran, explored, cheered and shared the day with us: 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹.

A route connecting the city and the forest. A day connecting people.

The runners who challenged themselves. The volunteers who showed up before sunrise. The communities that joined us. The families who cheered. The conversations we shared along the way.

This was Cluj Connect Run by Garmin.

Thank you to everyone who helped write this story.

𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗝 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗥𝗨𝗡 𝗯𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻 was an experience built together with Club Alpin Roman Cluj and brought to life by Garmin people.

For months, colleagues across Garmin Cluj stepped in.
As ambassadors. Volunteers. Speakers. Runners. Organizers. Photographers. DJs. Supporters. Some welcomed participants to the Garmin Experience Zone. Some helped create the event badge, watch face, and Garmin Connect experience. Some shared their stories during Garmin Talks. Others led warm-ups, supported logistics, hydration points, answered questions, encouraged runners, carried boxes, solved last-minute challenges.

Every role mattered. Because events like this are never built by one team.
They're built by people who care enough to step forward and help.

Thank you to everyone who made this day possible.

As an intern in our BA Subscriptions team, Elena Vidinaru is at the beginning of her journey at Garmin Cluj. Outside the office, she's already built plenty of experience on running trails and race courses.

Already signed up for the 21K race and preparing for her next 50K challenge, Angela brings energy, curiosity, and a genuine passion for movement wherever she goes.

When she learned about Cluj Connect Run by Garmin, she didn't just register. She also joined our ambassador team, eager to help bring more people into the community.

We're happy to have Angela as part of the team helping bring the first edition to life. curiosity, and a love for running wherever she goes.
