Last week, Montran Africa welcomed central banks, exchanges, CSDs, and ecosystem partners to Cluj-Napoca for our inaugural Market Infrastructure Summit — opened by Raegan Esca and Wohoro Ndohho, with Matthieu de Heering guiding the room as MC.

From ISO 20022 and instant payments to post-trade efficiency, capital market integration, and AI in MIs, the candor and curiosity our delegates brought to every session set the tone for what this community can build together.

This weekend, 77 Montran colleagues, friends, and family members took part in The Color Run, a 5K event all about fun, energy, and community spirit.

Beyond the colours and foam, the event supported a meaningful cause: MagicHOME, a project by the Magic Association that provides a safe and welcoming home near hospitals for families of severely ill children during treatment.

We’re proud to see the Montran community coming together to support families in need while sharing an unforgettable experience together.

The EU Instant Payments Regulation has been live since 9 October 2025. It removed the €100,000 transaction ceiling on SEPA Instant Credit Transfers — and pushed the the implementation of limit controls onto each PSP.

Montran’s Limit Management module delivers what (EU) 2024/886 now requires: minimum per-transaction and per-day limits, real-time customer control with API-based integrated mobile banking, and additional configurable rules by account, segment, or risk profile.

Already deployed across Romanian and European banks, standalone or integrated natively with Montran Instant Payments Gateways. Talk to us if you’re sizing the next step.

In celebration of Earth Day, our team in Romania joined forces with “Planteaza in Romania” for a meaningful tree planting initiative.

Alongside family and friends, 25 Montran colleagues contributed to planting over 5,000 saplings in just one weekend, including native hornbeams, acacias, and sycamore maples.

A small step together, with a lasting impact for generations to come.

Over the weekend, 40 colleagues from Montran Europe took part in the Wizz Air Marathon 2026, joining runners across major European cities in a celebration of active living, community spirit, and well-being.

Competing across multiple race categories—including 4 km, 6 km relay, 10 km, 21 km, and the full 42 km marathon—participants challenged themselves and supported one another every step of the way.

Their determination and team spirit reflect the values that drive us beyond the workplace: resilience, commitment, and a shared sense of purpose.

We are proud to announce the successful implementation of CAVAPY’s new Central Securities Depository (CSD) platform and Investor Portal—marking a major milestone in the modernization of Paraguay’s capital market infrastructure.

The solution incorporates clearing, settlement, custody, and book-entry registration services for the local securities market, complementing CAVAPY’s existing physical custody operations. It also enables a structural redefinition of the market’s operating framework through a clear segregation of roles between the Bolsa de Valores de Asunción (BVA) and CAVAPY.

By accelerating digitalization, standardizing processes, and strengthening market governance, the new CSD and Investor Portal introduce internationally recognized best practices—enhancing transparency, efficiency, and trust across Paraguay’s financial ecosystem.
