For many businesses, every order that leaves the warehouse gets typed twice: once in Microsoft D365 Business Central, once in the courier’s portal. With hundreds of orders a day, that’s where mistakes and delays start.

We fix this from inside Microsoft D365 Business Central, in one of two ways, depending on how complex your shipping process is:

→ EvoCarrier, Evozon’s own extension, for companies shipping with Romanian couriers. It connects BC to DPD, GLS, Cargus, FAN Courier and Transilvania Post, plus the Innoship and Postis platforms. AWBs are created straight from the ERP, with no portal-hopping.

→ Dynamic Ship by Insight Works, for international shipping and freight. Through EasyPost it reaches more than 100 carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL Express, Royal Mail, Canada Post and more). Through 2Ship it adds LTL/FTL freight and Bills of Lading. Rates, labels, customs data and tracking all stay in BC.

👇 The full breakdown of both options, with carrier lists, is in the comments.

How many carrier portals does your team log into on a normal day?

Plenty of teams still judge testing quality by how many bugs are open.

Ten cosmetic bugs can carry less risk than one bug that stops customers from paying.

Capacity can be limited, and releases have deadlines, so the useful question about a new bug isn’t whether it exists. It’s what risk it represents.

A few things we keep coming back to in testing:
-> Severity and priority are different things.
Severity is how badly the defect affects the software or its users. Priority is how urgently it needs fixing compared with everything else on the table. A severe bug can wait if there’s a reliable workaround.
-> A workaround buys time for a better-planned fix. It doesn’t make the defect go away.
“Won’t fix” should be a decision, not something that happens to a bug that sat in the backlog too long. Weigh impact, frequency and workarounds, write down why, and you have something you can revisit later. Accepted risk is still risk.

Today’s low priority doesn’t stay low. Features gain users, workarounds stop being practical, and new markets bring new rules.

What usually makes your team move a bug from “later” to “now”?

Evozon turns 21 today! 🎂

As we celebrate, we look back with gratitude and ahead with excitement.

Thank you to our colleagues, past and present, who’ve put a piece of themselves into everything we are today.

Thank you to our clients and partners for choosing us and for pushing us to be better. None of this would have been possible without you.

Happy birthday, Evozon! Here’s to the next chapter.

Should every bug be fixed?

It sounds like a question with an obvious answer. But real software teams don’t work with unlimited time, budget, or capacity. Releases have deadlines, and every hour spent on one fix is an hour not spent on another bug, a security improvement, technical debt, or a new feature.

So the better question isn’t “Is this a bug?” It’s “What risk does this bug represent, and what do we gain by fixing it?”

In his new article, our colleague explores how mature teams answer that question. He explains why severity and priority are not the same thing and how a technically severe bug can still wait while a small interface issue in a critical workflow needs attention right away. He also shows why one defect blocking a payment can matter more than ten cosmetic ones, and how a good workaround can lower the urgency without making the problem disappear.

One idea we especially like: a bug that’s low priority today won’t necessarily stay that way. As products grow and users change, priorities need to be revisited.

Great things happen when technology meets real-world challenges.
Our partner, Zebra Technologies, has published an insightful case study featuring Evomedix, developed for the Institutul Oncologic Prof Dr Ion Chiricuta Cluj Napoca (IOCN).

The case study explores how real-time RFID visibility is helping one of Europe’s leading oncology centers improve tracking, visibility, and infection-control processes.

We’re proud to see the Evomedix solution featured in a story that shows how technology can address real challenges in healthcare and support safer, more efficient environments.

Your ERP Microsoft D365 Business Central and your 3PL warehouse don’t talk to each other. So your team does it for them.

Re-typing sales orders. Chasing tracking numbers. Reconciling stock by hand. Waiting to confirm shipments before invoicing.

For a team processing dozens of orders a day, this isn’t friction. It’s a ceiling: more orders means more manual work, at almost the same rate.

We’ve build a bi-directional integration between 3PL Platform and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that automates 6 core logistics flows, from sales orders to invoicing.

- Tehnologii XR
- Sisteme de inteligență artificială
- Tehnologii pentru trasabilitate
- Roboți și agenți cognitivi

👉 Cum poate evozon să ajute?
• Consultanță tehnologică și CTO as a Service.
